Furthermore, it is easy to understand because it has pictures about her life and family. I especially recommend this book to History teachers because the biography was able to give vivid details about the time period that Maya Angelou, lived during and also her life. I also recommend this book to someone who would like to persevere in life because back in the 1950s making it as a dancer and a woman, and an African-American was very hard, but Angelou was able to make it.
