Binge read the whole series in half a day and I loved it so, so much! I always love stories that have time travel just because they're that much more complicated so they take that much more effort and planning from the author(s).
The samurai feel made me think of Itsuwaribito, which I also enjoyed!
I loved the romance between Kagetora and Beni! At first I thought it was too much of instant romance, but later as I kept realizing more and more about their story and being connected over a large span of time--everything made sense and they are seriously a beautiful couple, fated to be together!
I’m really hoping for the best for Hitaki and his brother...
And I might be the only one but I like that Rihito isn’t as brave as everyone else? That I can see his fear? With his past, it’s understandable. He’s not shown as much as the other characters but I still like him and hope he will be okay.
This series is so interesting and so much darker than you would believe. The art style has gotten better with each volume and I adore how this mangaka draws faces. I can really feel what the characters are feeling!
Is it me, or was anyone else not expecting her to be lost to time for this long? This isn't exactly what I would call unexpected, despite me not expecting it. Still, it beats having to read some long storytime sequence about the past, so everything works out.
