Another great book in this series. I was excited to "see" the Fae underworld in this book. I loved how the author added this new world. The sisters always get into things in these books and this book was just as fun. They had some great adventures and tried in free the Fae king's girl trapped in a Fae trap. What a great book! I can't wait to see what happens in the next one.

I really enjoyed this book, in fact i am loving the whole series. I am a cozy mystery fan at heart but this series has caught my imagination and once I start listening, I can't stop until I have reached the end. It's hard to decide which genre the book should be, other than must listen, because there is so much going on. The story is very character driven and I was glad to see it hadn't come to an end once each sister had found her mate, instead it continues on from where the story left off and the trails and troubles continue. So yes there is drama, sex and romance, which you can skip (the sex) and the author even tells you to do so if that is not your thing but there is so much more a curse that can't be broken, ghosts haunting a house, a sisterly bond that can not be broken, even struggles with a Chronic illness and the friendships that can be formed because of it. Just a well written and entertaining story about great characters that make you feel like part of the family. I can't wait for the next book.

Living with MS is hard, which is why Maeve and her family are moving from there family home before she has no choice. The house they are renting while there dream house is built turns into a nightmare. Strange things are going on and even the dogs can sense something is off. It is only after Maeve ends up in hospital that things get serious but her sister Alys and Siobhan are having there own problems. The only way to break a curse that traps a Fae kings pregnant wife is to travel to the Fae underworld to find an enchanted sword but the underworld is a deadly place now that the magic council has gone. Can they survive on there own? And can Maeve cope without her sisters there to back her up?
I like the narrator. She once again puts in an excellent and entertaining performance.

Audiobook: I enjoyed the fifth book in the "Silver Sisters" series a lot. A woman has been cursed by a fae, and the Silver Sisters have promised to break the curse. The Silver Sisters faced two issues as a result of their promise: one - everything they have tried wasn't working, and two - there was no one available to tell them how to break the curse. I liked the characters, their arcs, their relationships with each other and their families, and how those relationships continued to change and grow through each book in the series. I'm looking forward to more stories featuring the "Silver Sisters". I liked that the author mentioned the upcoming sexual scene and that the descriptive scene could be skipped over. Jacqueline Rendell's narration was great, and her performance added to the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

After listening to Jennifer L. Hart's Witch Way Today I am reminded of why this Silver Sisters Book 5 is my favorite to date. It is such a fun read and listen! I really like this series. Witch Way Today has it all: magic, mystery, ghosts, romance and spice. (I also like that Ms. Hart gives a heads up to the inclusion of a sex scene for the readers who would prefer to pass on it.) The stories remain unique even as the characters and their personalities continue to grow. I really love the characters and how they interact together. They never forget what it means to be family. I'm glad Jacqueline Rendell continues to narrate these books. I think she does a great job and I really enjoy listening to her narrations. For anyone who has not read or listened to this book...go get it now. It is a must read!

Sweet chocolate - This book is so good
I just love all the Silver sisters books and this one did not disappoint.
With all the ups and downs that life throws at them these sisters handle it with their inherent toughness, humour and never give up attitudes.
From dark forces attacking them to Maeve’s restrictions with her MS diagnosis they always seem to come out on top, not without putting in some hard work and with lots of help on their side.
A powerful story of three older women’s visions and each of them working to achieve the lives that they all want.
This book brings with it characters from other of Jennifer’s series and introduces new characters as well.
A fantastic addition to the series that I want to keep reading / listening to more of.
I had the audiobook version and loved it.

Chronic illness can mean badass!

One thing I really love about Jennifer Hart's books is that Chronic illness - specifically MS - doesn't mean someone is less than. In fact, it means that they are super badass because they've had to deal with the crap sandwich they've been dealt and make it a souffle! The other thing I love is the theme of family having each other's backs. In this story with the Silver sisters, that holds true again. Even though there are a few bumps along the way, the Silver Sisters work together to get things done. Maeve plays a big part of that, in one way because of her MS (and her powers). It's heartwarming for middle aged ladies like me with chronic illness to read stories like this.

Probably the best Jennifer has written.

I listened to the audio book version of this novel. I think this is Jennifer's best book yet. Story line is solid and characters are growing and developing. It's not the same ol' plot just being retold with slightly different events and endings. I really enjoyed the witches with MS group and appreciate Maeve's courage and strength. I can't wait for the next installment.

The narrator did a pretty good job. Seems like she's still having a bit of a challenge with the Australian accent.

I did get a free copy of the audio book in exchange for an honest review.

The fae and the witches

I loved this book by Jennifer L. Hart. In this book Maeve believes her new house is haunted. Sibby and Alys are trying to find a way to bring Gwendolyn and her child out of stone. They end up going to the underworld. I couldn't put this book down and can't wait to see what shenanigans the sisters get up to next.

Good on so many levels.

This series is a glorification of, not only the older woman but those who have chronic health issues. It doesn't have to destroy a woman's sexuality just because they can't rock the world with their youth. I love that these women are being celebrated for all the things they*can* do instead of being defined by what they*can't* do.

On to the next!

I enjoyed these witchy Silver sisters and their adventures. In this book motherhood connects them all. They always support each other making sure they learn new spells to fight the dark magic. Jacqueline Randell brings the sisters to life with her narration.

Another exciting adventure for Alys, Maeve, and Siobhan Silver. I can't get enough of these sisters. So much fun, friendship, family, magic, love, paranormal chaos, laughter and sometimes tears, but always a wonderful story. You need to listen to or read this series!!

I really enjoy the way this series is going. It does have a kind of Charmed beginning, but I think it deviates enough from the popular tv series to stand on its own.
