Erinna loves to say "hammer hammer bang bang"a phrase she picked up from this book. She will pretend to build a door with a hammer too and it's been a while since she's last read this book.

Pippa Mouse's House shows children how to help at home. It shows children' how to solve a problem and that they can accomplish tasks on their own and be recognized for doing a good job and the preschool class loves this story. They also have been seen acting it out in play so I know they have gained from repeated readings of Pippa Mouse's House and enjoyed the story.

Pippa was one of my favorite characters when I was a little, little girl. I still think she and her friends are some of the most adorably drawn characters I've ever seen.
