A man who has come to the end of his own self created misery, a small child who is cut by a different kind of poverty, as strange encounter on Chirstmas Eve and a mask whose countenance sings of a Hope that no one even imagined, The Mask weaves a tapestry of a love greater than mortals can conceive.
Rick Bundschuh serves as a teaching pastor at Kauai Christian Fellowship, and he also continues to write and illustrate material for various publishers. He lives with his beautiful wife, Lauren, their kids, a weenie dog, and a quiver of surfboards in Poipu, Hawaii.
Father and son writing team, Rick and Mason Bundschuh have put together a wonderful parable of transformation in The Mask. The story is about a man whose appearance is marred by his evil attitudes and behavior to the point of hiding behind a mask. Ultimately it is a hopeful tale of redemption, and very well done, but to give more details on this short story would be a major spoiler. Suffice to say these guys have a way with words, giving the book a very classic and classical (in the best way possible) feel. The book is beautifully illustrated by Shawn K. Carson. This is a wonderful little book that illustrates 1 Corinthians 15:49. This book is nicely done. Pick one up.
