When an old man returns to his childhood home, an old manor house where his father was chief gardener, he sets to work with his shears and the garden is transformed
This is defiantly not a children book, there is way too much in depth meaning behind what is going on. Although, I am sure that children will love this story, adults would understand at a much deeper level. The art work in this book is also very incredible, I can tell that some of it was rub-on (meaning that the artist took a piece of paper and rubbed an actual object (like a leaf) to create the art/picture of the object. It is truly a beautiful book from every angle! I really liked it!
