Mrs. Vision, I mean Virgina, will soon come to see that hiding a dead body from her husband is going to bear bitter fruit. It was in self-defense, but I wonder why she chose the course of action.

Read as a single issue on the ComiXology app. The collective review for the entire The Vision by Tom King and Gabriel Walta (2015-2016) storyline can be found on my review of The Vision: The Complete Series.

Incredibly powerful robots making incredibly powerful robots.
description
Haven't they seen any movies. The Terminator, The Matrix, and there are undoubtedly others. When powerful robots make powerful robots people suffer.

The Vision family creep me out. They need to send some unkillable soldiers like Laura Kinney and Deadpool with an EMP and he down with the Vision fam.

Oh man, this short series is so creepy, and so profoundly sad. I was nearly in tears in the final panels. It's the classic suburban-tale-flipped-on-its-head but flipped on its head all over again. The pace is quick and the story is tight, maybe a bit too tight at places. This is mostly because the flashbacks almost take up as much space as the story itself.

It's a story about failure, revenge, loss, death, mistrust, the meaning of life, and what inter-generational trauma looks like for robots. It's crappy family issues cranked up to 11, and *then* some. It's the superhero size of a regular Avengers movie but with the emotional center of an struggling dad.

Don't let the beautiful art and lazer beams fool you. This is a feelings trip.

I really loved how this story picked up from the first volume. Vision's desire to act more human is quickly becoming his downfall. Duh. We all saw that one coming form a mile away! The way the Avenger's logic, morality, and commitment are constantly at battle with another, however, was very fascinating and very well done. Tom King's ability to make the Vision not only interesting (for me, that was a first) but also to make him the center of a badass superhero soap opera makes me want to read more of his work.

Be it a bug in the system or their very programming, facts are facts and in two issues, two Visions attempt murder. The (original) Vision is unaware and could obviously never imagine a similar scenario, especially when by the hand of the synthezoids he has duly created. I am eager to see his reaction upon learning the truth.

This series is just super compelling to me. I really liked this issue, yet again. It also left on quite the cliffhanger that immediately made me want to read the next issue but, unfortunately, I need sleep.

I’m not mad at her. She shouldn’t have lied. We see even in their synthetic forms the Visions are more human than they realize. I want to know more.

I couldn't put it off any more. Having re-read the first issue a number of times, and showing it to anyone who would listen, I had to stop being patient and read the follow-up. Not as complete as the first issue but still visceral in its horror, and creative in how it approaches the racism experienced by the Visions. It creates a credible set of characters who react to their circumstances uniquely based on their experiences, their emotions, and their maturity. Top class writing.

There is a lot happening in this issue and series altogether. Writer and artist seem to have great "vision" on where they are leading readers...it's a good place.
