Design radicals GAMA-GO started with six t-shirts printed in a basement. Now hundreds of stores worldwide carry limited edition bags, pillows, clocks, clothes and toys. GAMA-GO's unconventional success is led by its founders' humor, bold colour palette and witty take on everyday life.
One of my favorite coffee table books, "Limited Edition" is a great collection of graphic emblems for the Gama-Go t-shirt company started by Greg Long, Chris Edmundson and Tim Biskup. The cartoony images are always imaginative and a few iconic characters are fun to look at, like Tiger Lily and Ninja Kitty, but nothing beats a Yeti and Godzilla gone bowling or enjoying a good old American barbeque.
A select catalog of this San Francisco t-shirt company's prints featuring their stable of characters including the Yeti, the Giant Squid, Kitty Ninja, Tigerlily, the Killer Kaiju, Dirty Bird, Deathbot, and many more. My only complaint is that I feel the volume should have been less of a bundle volume and more of a large format because, as it is a reprinting of t-shirt designs, they should be printed in a larger format, alike the original size. But then it would have cost a whole heck of a lot more. Sigh.
