Arthur Radclyffe Dugmore (1870-1955) was a pioneering American wildlife photographer and painter. He travelled to Kenya in 1909, and twice to Newfoundland, in 1907 and 1913. His works include: Bird Homes (1905), Camera Adventures in the African Wilds (1913), The Romance of the Beaver (1913), The Romance of the Newfoundland Caribou (1913), The Vast Sudan (1924), Wonderland of Big Game (1925), In the Heart of the Northern Forests (1930) and The Autobiography of a Wanderer (1930).
