I would love to take a class that uses this exact book for the text-book. This is the book for looking at the recent history of global contemporary performance art as far as I can tell.
I'm sure there are gaps, but this book seems to be everyone else's "gaps" made into a text-book! that's pushing it too.
Its a very well produced text on the subject.

An excellent performance anthology, starting with Pollack in 1949 and ending with Marta Minujin in 1971.
