Roul Vetaine is in New York to check up on his baby brother who just happen to be his twin and also happens to be in a flash mating scenario. Just wanting to know that his brother is not being lead around by the nose – he hire Morgan Kale of Watcher Agency to find out if the relationship is as solid as it should be.
Needless to say Roul comes up on surprise after surprise during his stay and the main one of note is the fact that Morgan is not who he expects and the instant attraction he feels for her is something he aim to follow through on.
I can’t go any further with the details without giving it all away, because this is a short read. I was attracted to the book by the cover and I was not disappointed in the neither plot nor the main protags themselves.
Ms. Valentines give just the right amount of detail to tease and hold my interest. Roul and Morgan are wolves and both are at different places in their lives with a whole lot of baggage on both side to content so – so the idea of a mating is pushed under the carpet by one and not even thought of by the other and this is the crust of the problem. Being an alpha Roul is definately not one to back down from what he wants and he knows he wants Morgan, however Morgan has always considered different and has the experience to go with it – someone has to give because finding middle ground with those kind off odds are not looking good.
I am liking this captivation voice and have already picked a few other books by Ms. Valentine. a new to me author but definately one I will be looking out for in the future.
