3.5 stars . . . I did this with my 7 & 9 year old children and it was a decent overview, but I think we might prefer something a little more of a deep study in order with less skipping around and preferably with notes about the culture and the times as we're reading about different details. My children did like the hand signs & key words.

I read this with my children (9, 13, 15). It gives a good overview and the hand actions are good for aiding memory.
