Good stuff in this book but it's way to long for what I got out of it. Also it's kinda hard to read because of the old english.

Excellent book on biblical masculinity. Lots of timeless practical advice, pastoral and challenging exhortations, and good analysis and warnings of various real life experiences. My favorite chapters were Amiability Without Religion, Perplexity From Religious Controversies, Success Or Failure In Business, and The Successive Steps Of Going Astray.

Very longwinded and quite flowery - or floury even, for not much gain...
