I took it upon myself to read the entire Left Behind series. My goodness what a slog. The entire series is filled with a self-righteous, smug sense of superiority. The entire purpose of this series was to try and convert the undecided to evangelical Christianity. The way they attempted to accomplish this was through fear. The characters, especially the women, are completely two dimensional. I can’t believe I was able to get through all the books. My brain needs a hell of a palate cleanser.

As far as theology it is a debatable point, but as a fun thrill fest in a book series, these books are a lot of fun.
Worth checking out, if only because they were on the New York Times best seller list. Also don't read this series if you are looking for good writing, because its not here, but they are fun, and sometimes its just worth reading a fun action packed book series.

The authors have done a great job. The books are easy to read and understand, about the end times of the human race on earth.
