The author is an executive of the National Rifle Association, so don't be surprised that the text is mostly bullets. (Ha.) Seriously though, it's a decent guide, covering safety in crises, the home, the outdoors, online, finances, travel, etc. The appendices are a great place to start for lists and resources before planning a trip or putting together emergency supplies.
