The New World Order

Rate this book
Ralph Epperson has spent years reserching the history of the two sides of the Great Seal, and has discovered that those who designed them committed America to what has been called "A Secret Destiny". This future destiny is so unpleasant that those who wanted the change it entails had to conceal that truth in symbols.

Ralph Epperson is an historian, author, and lecturer who has been researching the CONSPIRATORIAL VIEW OF HISTORY (the view that the major events of the past have been planned years in advance by a central conspiracy) for 50 years. He has written or produced four "best selling" books entitled THE UNSEEN HAND, THE NEW WORLD ORDER, MASONRY: CONSPIRACY AGAINST CHRISTIANITY, JESSE JAMES, UNITED STATES SENATOR, six booklets, and 15 DVDs.

He is a graduate of the University of Arizona, but freely admits that what he has learned since graduation has taught him that most of what he learned in college in History and Political Science simply is not true. He proudly states that his research has proven to him that there has been an active conspiracy in the world planning major wars, depressions, and inflations years in advance.

Many of those who have read his material and viewed his DVDs state that they are the best in the market on this subject. If you want to know how this conspiracy has operated in the world from one of the theory's best teachers and writers, you will want to obtain some or all of his materials.

I picked up the 2008 edition of this book, and was surprised to read the following statement in the preface:

"The book that you are about to read was completed in June, 1989 and was based upon the research that I have done for 27 years. All the signs that I was reading about indicated that THE NEW WORLD ORDER was scheduled to start on January 1, 2000. This obviously did not happen on that date.
However, that does not mean that my research was incorrect. It means that another date has been selected and that this date has truly been kept secret from honest researchers such as myself.
Let me impress upon you: these people are committed to achieving their goal, and THE NEW WORLD ORDER will occur, but at a future date. Let me add that I still believe that this date is very near."

If you don't see a problem, google Karl Popper's "falsification criterion."

Epperson’s third chapter illustrates the absurdity to which his ilk sinks. He introduces us to the New Age world ruler "Lord Maitreya" who has been living high in the Himalaya Mountains since 1977 preparing to take over the world. In 1990 Epperson suggested that Maitreya's descent from the mountains was imminent. The closing line of the chapter reads, “So the world awaits the visible appearance of Lord Maitreya.” Eighteen years later, the sixteenth printing of the book repeats the same claims. One wonders how old the Himalayan boogey man is getting these days, and whether Epperson might realize his research has been falsified.

Update:
I read this book almost 10 years ago and it was my introduction to the world of conspiracy theories. My friend at the time HIGHLY recommended it. He ended up going down the spiral of paranoia these theories can bring on. At one point conspiracy theories were "fun", in recent years they've become increasingly... just sad.

Original review:
Ever notice how people spewing bullshit like to WRITE IN ALL CAPITALS AS IF THIS PROVES THAT WHAT THEY ARE SAYING IS ACTUALLY OF ANY SUBSTANCE AT ALL?

This was a pretty interesting read, possible because the author has such a strong personality - which, ironically, he tells us in a preface will not influence his analysis of the facts. He actually states that he is just relaying evidence that he has found to us, and will not have a bias in the matter.

I wish I had the book with me to quote. My favourite part of the book is his attack of the secularism of public schools. He blames Dewey for this, and attempts an attack of Dewey's character (which doesn't seem relevant to me). Dewey said he denies the existence of eternal truths, like the ones religion spews. Epperson hates this, and in capital letters, calls Dewey insane for denying eternal truths - because, you know, eternal truths are eternal, so how can they not be true? - Epperson engaging in some desperate tautological horseshit.

I think this is a fairly good overview of the topics central to modern conspiracy theories, and it was a fun read due to Epperson's hilarious interjections.

I honestly was neutral in terms of liking this "book". It had no characteristics of a book. It had no plot, no story line, no action of any sort, no descriptive words, or much of anything other than listed facts. This book reads like a published shopping list. Was very plain and boring. I regret taking the time to read this "book".

If it were an actual book containing what is listed above, then maybe I would have rated it higher. As it is, it is a three star "book". The facts listed were really interesting, and they even made me do some background research to learn more about the facts listed throughout the book. What I did read, was very intriguing. Honestly, I learned from this published list. Even though it was not a very well structured book, the information was still a joy to read, and I will probably save this book and add it to my virtual bookshelf.

Overall, this book was a poorly laid out, yet amazing and very intriguing book. I do recommend that anybody interested in conspiracy theories reads it, but they should be older than 13 because children don't usually understand much about the history and politics behind America.

I'm a truther & this felt too crazy even for me. Christianity is not the saviour of humanity - it has been used as a tool of the oppressors for 2000 years to control the population.
A big issue for me was the omission of the two biggest puppeteers & instigators of this current system Rockefeller & Rothschild. How can you write a book called the New World Order & only mention Rockefeller in one sentence & totally omitt Rothschild & the federal reserve in passing?
Controlled opposition.

Everyone is talking about The New World Order today because of the politicization of the coronavirus and repeat threats from various public figures that we will never be going back to normal.

I'd first discovered the NWO "conspiracy theory" in my early twenties, stumbling across a forum online dedicated to the subject. My first impressions of the anti-NWO crowd back then was that they weren't very intelligent people and to make matters worse, they all appeared to me to be racist and homophobic.

Despite vaguely knowing of NWO, I couldn't be completely sure what it actually is people think is happening on a global scale and what exactly it is Piers Corbyn has protesting against every Saturday at Trafalgar Square in London. I now see Epperson was anticipating something of a global Communist and "Satanic" takeover.

I will likely get an even greater picture of what's happening by reading the books about The Great Reset and Fourth Industrial Revolution by Klaus Schwab. Eppersons book largely focuses on the role of the Secret Society, The Freemasons, with much attention on the religious or spiritual aspect of NEO. Schwab, as the CEO of the World Economic Forum is a big player in current events.

Very insightful material on how the future (our current present) looks. This book was written in 1989 but has been prophetic with a lot of its conclusions and thoughts. I would recommend and suggest this book to anyone who is 'cynical' about the events that are currently taking place because they would now realize that they have been correct in there assumptions.

Fairly great read despite being dated. I only read it because of a meme going around that quotes this book. Unfortunately the meme misquoted this book, as it were, if you please. The meme stated a coronavirus would be used to blah blah blah. While it did actually happen and the coronavirus was used to usher in medical tyranny under the WHO, it was never broached in this book. I used to tell a democrat I was married to, who gave me viciously rude glares, "Faces aren't Facts." Now I will also have to admit to myself that memes aren't Facts and I just fact checked a meme like a damn democrat. It was sad to be reading this far too late as he ended each chapter with, "The New World order is getting closer." Well now it's here and the saddest part is that everyone is so Tavistocked they believe their social media posts are "taking action". It does not appear anyone is going to do anything about the UN and WHO global takeover except Vladimir Putin. Most patriots still think they can vote their way out of this mess. My prediction is that by the time any Americans fight back the Cyborgs will be gathering their guns with a 100% kill rate. I will die by the end of this, whatever this may be, because, like Zapata, I vow to die on my feet as opposed to continuing to live on my knees.

It's too bad that there are so many reviews that I read here that are negative. Conspiracy theorist or not, Mr. Epperson made known his results to the in-depth research he did on this subject. So many scoffers here basically make fun of him and his writing but never mention the fact that most, if not all, of what he published in 1990 as the future of the United States of America HAS HAPPENED to date, 12/29/2022. One person even said that Mr. Epperson's date of the "end of the world" did not happen, but the author never said it would be the "end of the world" but the "end of the world as we know it", big difference. A couple of the reviewers said that the author used capital letters as if that made what he is saying true. To my knowledge, the use of capital letters is not to try and prove that something one is saying is true, but to call special attention to what one is saying due to its importance; just as I have done above. So, to say that he used capital letters to suggest to the reader that what he is saying is true, is to not understand the correct use of capital letters in a sentence. If one reads the book today and looks back to the history of our nation to 1990 when he published the book, one will find that he was actually ON POINT. That is, of course, if one is truly honest with oneself. So I guess the "conspiracy theory" turned out to be actually TRUTH.

I only started reading this book because it was recommended by a friend. Wasn’t interesting to me at all. Plus I am not into anything related to conspiracies or whatever some people believe in. What Annoyed me the most was that the writer would sometimes write in capitals as if that is what actually makes what he is saying 100% true.

The same old tired conspiracy nonsense, written for the barely literate. It even has the old “Whoops the world didn’t come to an end on the date I predicted, but it’s still gonna happen, belieeeeeve me” trope.

I think its reasonable to say that it's a mysterious subject, Although conspiracy theories and conspiracy theorist can't be taken seriously due to lack of facts and data which do not support their arguments. Most people are drawn to conspiracy theories in an attempt to satisfy important psychological needs like epistemic, existential and social and specially in an epistemic (need for knowledge and clarity) approach it is not advisable at all to believe in conspiracy theories without strong facts which proves the argument because they can lead to dangerous results. Although conspiracy beliefs can occasionally be based on a rational analysis of the evidence, most of the time they are not. But None of the above should indicate that all conspiracy theories are false. Some may indeed turn out to be true. According to my understanding after reading this book I can say the facts and evidence which author brought to prove that there were conspiracies of secret societies in changing world order also known as New World Order were weak, although I do not believe in everything but I agree with some points of author especially in last chapters. When see changes occuring day by day in our society and we can't deny that secret societies like Communist, Humanist, socialist and New agers had a influence over our society in changing world order, if not hidden conspiracies. More than first half of book is boring but I continued to read and find some information they I didn't know before. So, let's give this book a read by a careful approach may be something turn out to be useful in it, to see things in a big picture.

The book was very intriguing. It mostly accounts for the social changes and dangers that were to be braught upon a society that adpts a communist system. The organizations tyat were mentioned such as the humanists also depicts in part its ideas from communism so a lot of information is going to he put in relation to that source. The book also gives an examination of the American society and the political chsnges that are enforced on the population and private organizations such as the Catholic church teachings and puts in view the critical social changes in the family structure that are implicitly tucked into the social sphere as a whole. For instance the broadening of the definition of the family and the elasticity if the modern definition of that term that will eventually bring about its downturn and perhaps dismantling. However jeep in mind that the book is strictly subjective (my poijt of view ofc) as the author clearly points out the dsngers on religion for instance in general but mostly gives example of the catholic church and provided very few exits from the threats he ekphasized in his writing of this book. Nevertheless, it privides a paralell view of the mainstream culture and a different interpretation of world issues as whole and the family, education, policitcal and economical spheres in relation to freedom, that of choice and approches ij preparation for what he refers to as '' the new world''.

In this book the author attacks the Freemasons, claiming they worship Lucifer. The book doesn't present convincing arguments or enough evidence to be persuasive. He really lost my interest when he ventured into numerology, (several times.)
The book does give some background about the Illuminati, communists and Nazis. I haven't quite finished reading the ebook yet. But in general, it is amateurishly written. This is the kind of book that is meant by "conspiracy theory." Having said that, there are certainly evil conspiracies occurring in our world, like the World Economic Forum, which isn't hidden. It's members may not claim to worship Lucifer. Research it yourself and tremble.
This book has a good bibliography though.

The author has done a great deal pf research into the masonic cult and this book sure reflects that.

However, the tone is very matter-of-factly and that makes it a tough read.

Read it with a critical mind and it helps develop a multidimensional thinking, if not it simply is a conspiracy theorist's best meal.
