This book makes charges that a military takeover of the U.S. was considered by some in the administration of one our recent presidents and that the forces behind it remain in secret positions of power, maneuvering for another opportunity.
William Still was minister of the Gilcomston South Church of Scotland in Aberdeen from 1945 until 1997. His ministry had a strong emphasis on Biblically based expository preaching.
This is the kind of book that once you start reading, you can't put down. The flaw in this plan is that when you finally finish & are ready to take a nice nap/go to sleep for the night, you won't be able to. If only a portion of the conspiracy thoeories discussed in this text are true it wouldn't surprise me at all.....yet at the same time, blow my damn mind.
You'll get doses of Richard Nixon & Watergate, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson (whom I now consider one of the biggest douchebags to ever walk this Earth), Adam Weishaupt, Joseph Stalin, FDR & too many other to name politicians, barbarians, bankers & people in high profile/positions of power.
You'll learn about coups, the Great Depression, the French Revolution, the American Revolution and a plethora of other events that may have been pushed to fruition by those dirty, dirty Freemasons.
Very dry; could have been written a bit better given that the subject matter is pretty interesting. Really had to struggle to get through it. However, there were some interesting conspiracies that I have never heard of - wonder if this book was written after 9/11/2001 what would have been added!
This is actually a comment to “Art’s Review” but as I keep noticing Goodreads restricts certain comments if users are not “friends”
The Bavarian Illuminati (or some other nefarious groups) after it’s dissolution in the 18th century went to the lodges and infiltrated freemasonry… I’m not sure if this is the case or it was earlier, according to ex-satanist Mark Passio freemasonry was developed with extremely complex degrees to keep the mysteries from being infiltrated by ne’er-do-wells (insert whatever group you want, the assassins, devil worshipers, satanists, pagans, lucifarians, general psychopaths) but in fact eventually the fraternity was infiltrated and set up to do THE OPPOSITE - i.e. the degrees were used to keep the useless idiots at the lower levels ad the more psychopathic types and those who were able and willing to not only revoke their belief in a benevolent ‘god’ (the prerequisite for being accepted into the fraternity) but invert it (aka ‘do what thou wilt’ of the asshole Aleister Crowley whose parents were Freemasons, is/was a very fucked up individual and actually seems to have publicized and exhibited a kind of almost comical parody of what supposed Satanists celebrate at the top of the ladder in freemasonry (after all he was the supposed head of a branch of the fraternity known as the OTO) of course it could be a lot of bullshit - the whole subject and phenomenon is based on bullshit now though even the ‘degrees’ are basically different levels of disinformation where the initiate is introduced to new symbols and is taught/inculcated with DIFFERENT MEANINGS of the symbology they’ve a,ready been initiated in at each degree - meaning it sounds like a progressive and escalating exercise in creating massive cognitive dissonance. There are many rumours from various critics of freemasonry and related fraternities about how their initiates are tricked or ‘mind controlled’ into certain actions which are then recorded and kept as collateral (to blackmail) in order to make them toe the line - its know that this is a general technique for criminals and mobsters also to keep people in a state of fear of exposure and thus easy to control. This is what Epstein and Maxwell did with incriminating photos of all the people they flew to their island and presumably what other sex traffickers commonly employ. Funny how he died, right? All that evidence… just disappeared. I digress. I actually believe Mark Passio I think he’s onto something. I don’t know about his initiation into satanic sects ad assume he’s not a high level Freemason but I think he has part of the picture. Whether this is relevant to world affairs or anyones lives, who knows?
Do you like conspiracy books? Well, if you are not particular, this book may be for you. According to the author, secret societies have long been lurking in the shadows, seeking to bring about a totalitarian "New World Order." The usual suspects are involved in trying to bring this about: Central Bankers, the CFR, Marxists, and the Freemasons. Since Masons are not allowed to discuss partisan politics in their lodges, it's unclear to me how they are involved in this massive conspiracy. Although the author claims, "I in no way wish to vilify the many God-fearing members of Freemasonry," he spends much of the book interpreting Masonic ritual and philosophy in ways that are sure to scare the hell out of just about anyone. One would likely have to look far and wide to find a Mason that would agree with the author's interpretation of Freemasonry. However, believers in a worldwide conspiracy will likely eat up the author's thesis. I cannot recommend this book!
