Publication put out in preparation for the 'World Summit on Sustainable Development' in South Africa. Gives data showing progress or setbacks of creating a sustainable global economy that will meet human needs while protecting and restoring the natural environment. The previous Earth Summit occured in 1992 in Rio. An eye opening description of very serious problems.
