Well, as many of my friends and family would tell you, I am the world's worst photographer! However, with the creative ideas published in this book and the clear, easy-to-follow instructions, there has been a drastic change in my photos. From the first page, I was ready to get out and start snapping pictures! From reading this book, you will be able to easily spot a photo op and be able to look for the things that make up a good photo. I was looking for ideas around a new project and I didn't find this book to be inspirational at all. The ideas seemed outdated and frankly, not great to look at. I was really pretty disappointed. Don't waste you money or time.

This is a great book full of imaginative ideas for shooting photographs. It's stuffed with both color and black and white photos of each of the 52 projects that make up the book. Along with the photographic examples, each project includes a list of what you'll need before tackling the assignment and a paragraph or two with instructions and advice. It's one of those books I'll be flipping through a lot (most especially when I feel in need of creative inspiration.)

Though I've signed up for one and attempted to sign up for another, I haven't actually attended a photography class yet. It will happen one of these days. In the meantime, I'll focus on reading wonderful photography books like the two I've read in the last few weeks. These books are filled with great ideas for great picture taking; I probably could just skip the photography class and try out ideas from these books.

Some neat ideas, but there were a lot of techniques for film cameras and some very hard-to-find (or just too expensive) film models. Overall, I was disappointed but will be able to put a handful of ideas to use.

Nicely presented, very well-organised, with short but clear and concise instructions, and many photo examples. Even if you already know many of the techniques listed, this book is still good for refreshing ideas and providing new inspiration from time to time.
