In this second issue of Vampire Hunter, Jake wakes up from his encounter with the lanky man and still can't believe what he the tall, porcelain skinned, stuttering man bite the woman's neck. Hoping to clear his mind of crazy thoughts of vampires, he heads out to watch the Halloween revelry only to find that he hasn't woken up at all. He's in a terrible dream in which everyone is frozen. Cars, people, everything. Only it's not really a dream. He's crossed over to the other world and finds himself face-to-face again with the vampire...and three vampire hunters.

Jason Thibeault received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Creative Writing from the University of California, Irvine and his Master of Arts degree in English/Creative Writing from California State University, Northridge. He has written one full-length mainstream literary fiction novel, Ordinary Magic (coming 2013), and turned to young adult fiction in 2010 with the founding of Dime Novel Publishing—a publishing house devoted to resurrecting the serialized dime novel format. Jason has worked at a publishing house, numerous technology startups, taught composition and creative writing at the university, run his own consulting company, and currently serves as a marketing executive.
