Great book for anyone who wants to build an aquarium! Awesome, full-colored pictures of the tanks, how to take care of them, and beautiful pictures of all the fish. Step-by-step directions about how to build the tank are part of the book. Directions of how slowly to introduce your fish, tips on healthcare, feeding, and breeding them are also included. Super good book!

Great information on native habitats. The tank mate suggestions are not detailed enough. You can’t just throw the fish together and expect it will work out. Minimum tank sizes were not given for some fish that can get quite large.

Good for tank ideas- no specifics on setting up, and uses some outdated technology like under gravel filters.
