The Essential Moral Handbook will help readers grasp the basic principles of moral theology in the Roman Catholic tradition and apply them to their own lives. This handbook leads to solid answers that respect human dignity, promote the rights of the individual, and stress the importance of personal responsibility.

The Essential Moral Handbook will provide valuable assistance to lay ministers, members of evangelical teams, parents mentoring their children in the basics of the faith, RCIA candidates, teachers, and those who want a review of moral issues in light of current events.

A good guide that will help the Lay people to understand Moral Theology. This book dealt with almost all the topics of the Moral Theology. It gives an idea about the Catholic Morality in gist. It can be used as a quick guide. Just in few paragraphs explains about various moral topics. A good guide to keep in every Catholic Family. I recommend it to every Catholics to have a look in this. It is good to have such reference guides in our families. We need to be equipped with the moral teachings to answer to our separated Christian brethren.

We are reading this book as part of the Ministry Formation Program in the Diocese of St. Augustine. While the book seems relatively small, I have to say that it packs a punch! Not a lot of words are wasted, and the stance of the Catholic Church toward moral theology is paid out very well, often with references to the Catechism. I also enjoyed the last four chapters on current issues, especially social and bioethics and the environment.

Um livro que todo católico que se preze deveria ter. Muita informação, sempre de acordo com a mãe igreja, a bíblia sagrada e a tradição e que nos ajuda diante da complexidade e caos moral do mundo pós moderno.
