The footprints of God have been evident and astounding throughout Robert Nelson’s entire life. Death should have won more than once, but God had a plan. God clearly had a purpose and an intent in Robert’s life long before Robert had any desire to pursue or fall in love with his beautiful savior, Jesus. But God knows the end from the beginning and loved him with the knowledge of who he would become, not where he ambivalence, illness, an airplane that should have crashed, orchestrating the perfect match in the woman he would marry, and multiple overseas assignments. A life full, and fully in love with Jesus. Content and without regret, he was settled into retirement. And then… God revealed that the first 71 years were merely the classroom for what was to come. A new assignment is on the horizon and God’s footprints have been leading the way all along. Throughout his life, Robert was encouraged to write letters, reports, and journals from which much of this memoir is taken.
