Title: ➳ ❤ Given to the Berserkers Series ➳Berserker Saga #4) Author: ➳ Lee Savino
ღ The Highland alpha decided that with the two remaining sister to have games to settle who will be awarded the “Prize” (Muriel) the older twin.
►“Already there are arguments & infighting over who will be awarded a Berserker bride. It’s only a matter of time that a warrior challenges another for Muriel & they fight until they destroy each other. Whoever win the series of games wins Muriel as a mate, regardless of what she wants.
►Pretty much ever since Muriel meet Fergus, she was in love with him. It seem that he felt the same way, but he was the smalls of his pack. Did he even have chance of winning Muriel in the games?
►Muriel had considered running, but there is no corner of the earth where she could hide from these warriors. They would hunt her down, only to be mated for life to male either way In mind Muriel, she must keep the peace in the two packs
💞. This one seem to have just Lil twist to it- Muriel had thought she was won by only one Berserker warrior, only to find out she had two master to please
►Overall, this was a suspenseful, emotional, sweet story of three people so different yet perfect for each other.
➦📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion 📚 Grab yourself a copy of this steaminess for just yourself
➦ 💕 would I recommend this book: Yes.

Both Wulfgar and Fergus already shared a bond. The fault did not lie with them. It lay with me. I had to fix this. . .As the minutes stretched to hours, I lay in the dark, gnawing my lip. There was one person I knew who was neither my sister or pack. By morning, I decided.
I would find and speak to the witch.
#Returnthewitch, Part IV
***Plot spoilers regarding the witch and how she connects to the plot & MCs***
Seriously, this review is geared towards those who are interested in the witch, but don't necessarily want to read the book. I'm reading it, so they don't have too :) If you're interested in this book, just give it a go! This review in particular is way too spoilery.
This installment focuses on Brenna & Sabine's younger sister, Muriel. Both the Highland & Lowland packs have come to a truce, and part of that truce is allowing both packs to compete for the remaining sisters (Muriel & Fleur). While Brenna & Sabine's magic and powers were obvious, Muriel has yet to come into her own power. During the games there's some plot tension with Siebold. If you remember from book 1, Sold To The Berserkers, Siebold is described as a Sadist. In fact, the witch Yseult tends to favor him when she gets down n' dirty with the entire pack. He's not fit for someone gentle like Muriel. Fortunately Siebold doesn't win, . Later, when Muriel is settled in with her new mates, she becomes worried she won't be able to bond with them because of her latent magic. Muriel results to secretly summoning Yseult for help.
An owl flew to a nearby branch. The broad span of its wings caught my eye and I turned, startled. I was even more startled when the owl grew into a woman, with white blond hair and a beak-like nose. She was lovely, but her beauty was a hard shell around her.
We find out in this installment Yseult has the power to take the form of an owl, and seems to have a friend who is a raven. She gives Muriel cryptic advice, and takes on the archetype of the trickster again by tricking Muriel into giving her a lock of her hair:
Yseult fixed me with a look. “Only you can stop this, Muriel. Use your powers. And one more thing.” She lifted her hand to her mouth, hiding her pleased look. The next word I heard in an faint, echoing voice, spoken directly inside my head. Don’t ever give a witch a piece of your body. It allows them to control you.
It remains to be seen if Yseult will use this new control over Muriel. She later returns in this book to help Muriel come into her power. We've learned this usually happens when the spaewives submit to their wolves, usually through a punishment. This time it occurs through Muriel submitting to nipple and clitoral hood piercings. lol
So once Muriel is pierced, this triggers:
Thus proceeds Muriel's first magical heat, that will occur once a month. She comes into her own power, which ends up helping Fergus as he later challenges a rival wolf in the pack (Siebold).
I want to talk about how the sisters are spaewives (which gives them their earthy magic and ability to soothe the Berserker's inner beasts). I have to admit I'm now a bit confused. I thought I learned in book 2, Mated To The Berserkers that Brenna was a hedgewitch or spaewife. I figured they were interchangeable terms. Except in this book Yseult says:
All four of you and your sisters are spaewives, a special race of women born with latent magic. Not quite witches, though you could become so. Your magic is natural, of the earth.
So my question to the author would be what's up with that? Is Brenna a hedgewitch or not? I thought the terms were interchangeable, but now Yseult is saying none of the sisters are hedgewitches and all the sisters are currently just spaewives? Idk.
Fergus was cute and I loved the pairing of Wulfgar and Fergus together. I'm not completely sure why I'm rating this book 3 stars instead of 4. For some reason it feels more like a 3 star read. I liked it.
That's all for #Returnthewitch, Part IV

Muriel may not have wanted to be the prize in a competition but when she finds herself receiving Wulfgar as the victor, while sad, she's thankful. The sadness comes from her slow fall into love with Fergus, the little red wolf, in the time prior to the competition.
Boy was she in for quite a surprise when she finds a new day upon her! The trio experiences some trials and tribulations that lead to injury and wounded spirits. It's beautiful and steamy when they come together and draw from each other's strength. There's fighting within the pack that creates several tense situations.
Robert Ross continues to make me tingly with that voice of his.
I botho hated and love this book. I hated the way it started but absolutely loved the way it ended. There were a lot of sweet moments between Muriel and Fergus and I'm really glad those two found a HEA. The addition of Wulfgar added an extra spice and extra drama. The only thing that really disappointed me was that the bully of the pack didn't bite the dust.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Strong characters and a great story line. I can't wait to read more of this series. Plus I can't wait to read more of Lee's work too. This about the relationship between Muriel, Fergus and Wulfgar. She and her younger twin had been sheltered by their older sisters. After Wulfgar wins the fight to claim Muriel the loser comes to claim her before the bond is completed. Now Fergus has to prove that he is worthy of Muriel as a mate too.
I loved Wulfgar and Samuel. They were the perfect fit for Muriel. She was a great heroine who fought her submission, but not to the point of annoyance.
This is Muriel, Fergus, and Wulfgar's story. Muriel and her twin sister, Fleur, are kidnapped the same night their sister, Sabine, disappears on her way home from the market. Strangers burst into their hut, throw them over their shoulders and carry them off. Muriel hits her head in the struggle and awakens to find herself and Fleur held in a cage made of saplings so tall and broad and woven so tightly that there is no way to escape. She has no idea where they are. Who are these men who have taken them? What do they want with the twins? Where was Sabine? Fergus is of the Highland Berserker pack. He is the smallest of the pack, the runt, and distinguished by his red hair both in his human and wolf forms. He has been bullied and taunted since becoming a Berserker but he is a spitfire. He is his own man and is not cowed by those who try to bully him, particularly Siebold, the biggest jerk in the pack! Fergus sneaks to the camp where Muriel and Fleur are being held by the Lowland Berserker pack. While in human form, he secretly speaks with Muriel and forms a bond with her, comforting her and assuring her all will be well. As he leaves, he comforts Muriel with the promise that he will always be near. She clings to his words and hopes she can believe him. Days later, after a summit, it's decided Muriel will be given to one of the Berserkers from one of the two packs as a mate. But how to make the decision? Of course! The Berserkers will hold a series of games to narrow the field to two finalists who will fight, perhaps to the death, to win Muriel as their prize. Muriel is sickened when she hears the news but knows there are too many Berserkers for her to escape. She must do her duty and hope to make the best of it. She wishes she could have what her sisters Brenna and Sabine have but it seems fate has taken that from her. On the day of the Games, Fergus does well initially but, sure enough, one of Siebold's cohorts makes an illegal play that takes Fergus out of the running for good. Muriel is crushed, her hope gone. What does it matter now who wins, as long as it isn't Siebold or one of his friends? Wulfgar is the third in line of the Highland Berserker pack. When the Games come to the final match, it is Wulfgar who is pitted against Siebold. Wulfgar is huge, a giant of a man, even for a Berserker. He has been kind to Muriel so she pins her hopes on him winning the contest and her. But Siebold has many tricks up his sleeve. He's a bully and doesn't play fair. This is a no-holds-barred contest. Weapons, shapeshifting, and even changing into Berserker form is allowed. There's no guarantee that Wulfgar will be the victor. As the final battle begins, Muriel holds her breath and tries her hardest not to give up hope. This is just the beginning of Muriel's story. What happens after the Games? Who ultimately wins, Wulfgar or Siebold? How will she deal with her devastation at losing her chance to be with Fergus, the one Berserker she has grown close to? What will be her ultimate fate as the mate of a Berserker regardless of who wins? What are her choices and what does the future hold?
Lee Savino has written yet another engrossing and thoroughly enchanting story that captivates and holds the reader enthralled for the entire book. I was completely immersed in this story. The twists and turns in the plot were so well-written that I literally didn't want to put the book down. It's full of magic, shapeshifters, a witch or two, and all kinds of excitement. I highly recommend this book if you are a fan of paranormal, shapeshifters, erotic romance or all three. You will not be disappointed.
I would be remiss if I did not make one final comment. This is an ADULT book. It contains very adult themes, explicit language, and sexual scenes. If you do not enjoy erotic romance with explicit sexual scenes then please carefully consider your purchase before starting this series. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY BOOK IN A GENRE YOU KNOW YOU WILL NOT ENJOY AND THEN LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW OF THE BOOK AS IT IS NOT FAIR TO THE AUTHOR! She works hard to provide a quality work product and if you know before you purchase a book that you will object to the subject matter contained therein, you will be doing not only yourself, but the author, an extreme disservice. But if you do enjoy spicy, erotic romance, Ms. Savino's entire Berserker series is definitely one I would recommend.

This Beserker series of books get better with each one Ms. Savino writes! Recommend!
Muriel and her sisters were captured by the Lowland Berserkers and were to be handed off to a warrior to be their mate. She has come to accept her fate but wishes she could pick her mate.
Fergus is from the Highland Berserkers and while she is caged he slips in close to the cage to talk with her.
When Muriel is informed by her sisters mates that she is to be the prize at the berserker games, she's furious because she gets no say in who wins her and she has to mate. I hated how this started out but I had faith when her sisters mates told her that whoever won her would treat her well or face consequences because she and her sisters are highly prized.
There was a bit of a twist after she met who won and she would be mated to but I really liked the twist. It made it easier to enjoy the story from that point for a while. But then her mates start telling her that she needs to obey them, submit to them, and then there was so much sex. I'm not a prude and have no problem with a lot of sexy times in a book but this just seemed overdone especially since I really didn't get a serious sense of of the three of them clicking in that way.
It was more like she wanted to do her duty and obey them even if she didn't want to at first. She did come to start caring for them after getting to know them a little better and I like that they were both there to care for her, and did really seem to care about her happiness but I needed something more. I also didn't like the fact that the males thought it was ok to punish Muriel when she didn't do what they told her to. I did end up liking this book in the end even though there were a couple of things that bothered me.
I hadn't read the previous books but this told enough of the back story that I never felt lost and had a good grip about why the sisters were so prized as mates.
The tale continues with Muriels story And this one is more compelling and has more ups and downs than either of her sisters. This one is the best so far. The way that Muriel has the balls to keep the red wolf's appearance a secret sets her character and the friendship she nurtures with Fergus. But she is destined for the winner of the Games and unfortunately that will not be Fergus. ...but as long as its not Siebold then she can deal with whichever Beserker she is given to. Ohhhhh the chemistry between her and who she is given to is electric and what happens in that little hut is beyond hot. I'm not gonna give even a hint at any spoilers but I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed myself while reading the latest Lee Sevino book 😉 I'm sure you won't be left wanting!
Even though Siebold is still alive and kicking, it was a beautiful story, sensitively told with wonderful characters, a great development and some juicy scenes. Really awesome and endearing. This trio - Muriel, Wulfgar and Fergus - was refreshing and pure fun.
This book was okay and a nice continuation on from the previous book. I didn't feel like there was much of a connection between the main characters though.
I love Lee Savino's Berserkers and their world. She has based them just enough in the actual histories of the time period as well as legends of the Vikings that you can get an immersive feeling in the world.
Muriel is one of the twin sisters of Sabine and Brenna. When Sabine got taken, the Berserkers took her and her sickly twin, Fleur, as both hostages to Sabine's good behavior and as potential brides to other Berserkers, since they are also spaewives.
Eventually, the Alphas of both the Highland and Lowlands packs decide that the easiest and fairest way for Muriel to be mated is to have a huge competition. Think of it like the US and Canada having a competition except that instead of winning a medal, the winner gets Muriel. Muriel isn't all that happy about it, because she isn't getting to choose her own mate or mates. In fact, she has to take the winner to mate, even if the winner is the nastiest, evilest, most disgusting Berserker ever.
I'm not going to give away the name of the winner because that would be some spoilers, and no one wants that.
I will say that Muriel's story is my favorite out of all the sisters. I'm not sure why, there's just something about her that calls to me. I do like the winner of the games and I do like how things pan out at the end of the story. I can't wait to see how the sisters' stories will interconnect with the stories from the Berserker Brides.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I will also note that I read and reviewed this book a solid year ago on another site, so this review, literally, is a year old.
This story is a menage and a paranormal one to boot. I'm just beginning to read paranormal but it seems I'm not a great fan of Berserkers, but I have to admit the sex covered this book from cover to cover. Lots steam and sex, and then some more.
However, the book is full of misused words, such as faint instead of feint, town instead of tone, etc. I was surprised that I was finding a number of typos also. Sadly, typos, when they are made that often, really detract from a story for me. And as someone who works in the publishing field, this book was very tough to read because of those typos and misused words. In addition, I understand that rarely does a book that is written solely for the heat it generates have a cohesive plot, but this one lacks a lot in detail and really could have been improved upon without a lot of effort. The disappearance of the first sister could have been developed more.
I've been reading erotica and erotic romance for a long, long time, and it doesn't have to give up a plot or character development in order to BE erotica. It just needs well written sex, along with a well told story and lots of emotion.
Berserkers are one step beyond shifters – they require an obedient mate to keep their beast at bay!!!
This is the first book I read in the series – and I was never confused, and was quickly pulled completely into the story. The only side-effect is now I feel compelled to read all the previous stories as this was a thoroughly entertaining and high-heat read!!
A competition between and Highland Pack and the Lowland Pack will result in Muriel being claimed by the winning Berserker. Her sisters have each mated the alphas of these packs creating a mated trio. The suspense builds as each berserker falls and a victor is closer to being chosen. .
Muriel has much to learn, as a Berserker is kept in check by having his mate obey – and there are consequences for not doing so. Suspense, Magic, betrayal and scintillating relationships create an exciting story.
**I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book**
The Alphas decree that all warriors must compete in a series of Highland Games for Muriel's hand. In the end, she will belong to the most ruthless of them.
She already has her eyes set on Fergus, whom she knows from the time she was kidnapped with her twin sister. She is also sad that Fergus will not have a chance to win the games. Muriel may not want to be a prize for the winner, but for the sake and peace of both packs, she will be grateful and accept Wulfgar. But she'll be in for a big surprise when she finds out who Wulfgar's brother bond is.
Yet another entrancing Berserkers book. This series just sucks me in every time and I love spending time with these beastly warriors and their mates. Wulfgar and Fergus make for an almost comedic pair until lust and their protective instincts take over. Dominant Alpha males to the core, they fit in perfectly with the clans and Alpha pairings we've met in other books. Muriel is a strong character, well capable of meeting the needs of her new mates, and she has a surprise or two in store for all. A thrilling, page-turning sexy read, highly recommended.
3.5 stars It was a hot read. However, I wish that Muriel had a bit more backbone and fire in her, especially considering she's a sub to two alphas. Definitely peaked my curiosity about her older sisters' stories. Overall, it was well written and the characters had depth to them. The story is not just about sex, though it features lots of it ;)
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a great continuation of an amazing series. Every single one of the Berserker books has been so sexy and so hot, this was no exception. I canceled my plans when I found out this one was released and read it in one sitting. Can't wait for the next one!
This is just AWESOME. Lee Savino has yet again written a great book. This series gets better and better with each book. The HEAT level in this book is off the charts. I just can't wait to read the next.
This book was okay, haven't read the other books. I was really annoyed with one word used all the time, made me think someone young wrote this. I also didn't care for dominance in this book.
This book was gifted to me and I am giving my honest opinion of it because I want to. I have read several of Lee’s books and I have to say that she has not disappointed me yet. The story line and plots are gripping, and to me the characters are so well put together it is just amazing to me that someone can think like this to make up a story. This is book four of her Berserker series. It is a standalone book but I think that if you were to read the other books it would help to understand the sisters a little bit better. Muriel is the twin sister of Fleur, her older sisters Brenna and Sabin had disappeared leaving her to care for her sickly twin. It wasn’t until the Berserkers came to into their hut and took then that she finally learned what had happened. They had locked the girls up into a cage. They saw to all of their needs and Sabine had the herbs sent to Muriel so that she could care for her sister when the headaches and fever came. They were staying with the Lowland pack that whose Alpha’s were Ragnval and Maddox mates to Sabin. They told her that she and her sister were being kept there for their protection not because they were prisoners. While she was in her cage a lone red wolf would come to see her, and then he would change into a man; his name was Fergus and for some reason she had no fear of him, she felt safe when he was near. However he was not of the Lowland pack but of the Highland pack who’s Alpha’s were Samuel and Daegan this is where Brenna was with her babies that she had with her Alpha’s. It was finally decided that there was to be games between the two packs, and through the games they would come down to two warriors that would fight for Muriel to be her mate. One was Siebold an mean and hateful bully, Muriel didn’t want to have anything to do with him. The other was Wolfar though he was not the most handsome being bald and with a terrible scare down the side of his face he had the gentlest eyes and she felt safe with him. Fergus had been eliminated earlier in the games. The question now is who is going to win her. If Wofgar wins what is to become of her love for Fergus; if Siebold win she thinks she would rather die first. Why does she not feel her magic like her sisters? She feels she is letting everyone down and is constantly afraid of the lose that she may feel. This is a great book and to see Muriel find out things about herself with the help of her mate or mates is something to read.

Even though I already owned Lee Savino's "Given to the Berserkers: A menage shifter romance (Berserker Saga Book 4) Lee Savino," I agreed to review it as an ARC for her via Booksprout; I recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given! Until next time... Happy Reading!
Supernatural Ménage, Shifter Warriors, Magic, Romance and Adventure! Given to the Berserkers is book 5 in the Beserker Saga by Lee Savino. I hadn't read any of the rest of the series, but this one has left me intrigued enough to look for other books in the series. Muriel's older sisters, Sabine and Brenna had disappeared, leaving twins Muriel and Fleur on their own. In Given to the Berserkers, Muriel and Fleur are taken by Berserkers and learn that both their sisters had been previously taken by Berserkers and are now happily mated to tribe Alphas. The Berserkers believe that the girls' family line has magic that makes them among the only women able to mate with a Berserker. To keep the peace among the tribes, it is decided that Muriel will be given as a prize to the winner of warrior games. When the games are over, The Enforcer, a large, scarred Berserker is the only warrior left standing, and he carries her away to his home immediately to make her his mate. Muriel mourns the loss of the Berserker she'd formed an attachment to, Fergus, for he'd been eliminated relatively early on in the games. Much to Muriel's surprise, she learns that Fergus shares a brother bond with her new husband, Wulfgar, and that they intend to share her as their mate. Muriel's efforts to adjust to her new life, and her fears that she doesn't carry the same magic her sisters do, and the disappointment that her warriors can't seem to form a true mate bond with her combine to add angst and drama to what would otherwise be mostly a sexy tale, with some action thrown in for fun. Overall, this was a fun read with some very steamy and well written ménage scenes. There are some shifter battle scenes that are also very well written that carry the reader into the middle of the action. The story took a while to get going for me, but once it did, it was off and running with a bang. Overall, I enjoyed this romantic adventure, and look forward to reading more books in the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Short & Sexy shifter romance with the Berserkers - Love this series!
This is the fourth book in the original Berserker saga featuring Muriel and her two mates, Wulfgar and Fergus, but it is not all smooth sailing for the trio. This book has a few things that could be triggers for some, including adult language, erotic intimate scenes involving menage, violence and subterfuge. If any of these are triggers / offensive to you, then this may not be the book or series for you.
After Brenna followed by Sabine disappeared, the twins, Muriel and Fleur, were taken from their house at the edge of the city by the pack for protection. At first the two of them were kept in a cage until the Alphas determined there wasn't a risk of them being hurt by one or more of the Berserkers. After they were able to safely meet with the Highland Pack alphas, it was decided that they would hold a Highland style games to determine the strongest Berserker and they would become the mate to Muriel. She was attracted to Fergus, who had approached her while she was still in the cage to make her laugh and relax while he flirted. They had met a couple of times in secret, but because he was considered weak, no one really considered him a contender for her hand. Also, no one knew about his brother bond, which they used to their advantage. Toss in a crazy Berserker that is convinced she should be his, and the games take on a whole other dimension.
I don't want to give any twists or plots away, so I will stop there.
I volunteered to leave a honest review of an ARC from the author. Liked it so much that I just had to get it for my library.
"Utterly Fantastic and Incredibly Passionate" If you could sum up Given to the Berserkers in three words, what would they be? surrender, passionate, mindblowing
What did you like best about this story? I love that even though their interactions shock and confuse the woman everything they do is to bring her mind numbing pleasure and to bind her heart, mind, and soul to them. Their punishments are meant to coax her into a beautiful and total submission to their hearts. Everything they do is to meld their hearts as one and to show her that she has absolutely nothing to worry about once she surrenders herself to them.
What does Robert Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book? Robert Ross brings a sensual depth and vivid atmosphere with his to die for Scottish voice. He wraps you into a magical world that exists just beyond the edges of our consciousness and pulls you in with the passionate heart and sensual touch of these wonderful characters.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you? The scene where Woflgar, Fergus, and Murial reveal their hidden secrets, so that they are all laid bare before the other. The painful vulnerability is strikingly beautiful and I couldn't get enough when they all finally surrender in full to each other and allow their mating bond to truly blossom and flourish.
Any additional comments? This is one of my all time favorite paranormal series! I can't get enough of these amazing women who prove to be exactly what these men need in order to calm their beast and to truly live life.
I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts ARC
The twins Muriel and Fleur are captured by the Beserkers and are made to live in a cage. They don't know that Sabine had been taken by the berserkers and Breena is living she two alphas in another pack. Fergus came to see the sisters even though he was not with the pack. Fergus and Muriel feel a tug between the two of them. Muriel was really worried about her sister Fleur she was always the sick one. Muriel was allowed to stay with Sabine and Fleur stayed with Breena. Muriel was told that she would be the prize of one of the Beserkers when they finished the game. The treaty stated that each pack would have one of the girls. In the games her love Fergus did not win and she was ready to do her duty. The beserker Wulgar she had met earlier told her he would watch over her, well he won the games so he took her home. Little did she know that Fergus was going to be with her too.
Fergus spent most of the time with Muriel and Wulfgar would come and go he couldn't understand why Wulfgar had not taken her as yet. Now Muriel is feeling better about Wulfgar and he takes her plus telling her that they will mark her soon. Things start to go awry another beserker challenged one of mates. Fergus is going to battle with Siebold but,in the meantime all three are now bonded. Fergus was going to fight to kept Siebold away for good.
Will Fergus kill Siebold and protect his mate. Will Muriel find her special power
Getting to sister number three has been interesting but now that we are here things have taken on a new level of intrigue. Falling for and bonding with one while in captivity can be a challenge when you are the prize in a game of games. Sweet Fleur was nothing like her two older sisters. She had been sheltered and secure in herself until one day all that came crashing down. She now finds herself to be given as the prize in the games of life and death. She finds herself hoping and desiring one man while being given to another. I have waited since the first time seeing Fergus in the opening book to see him get his. Fergus and Wulfgar capture my attention and my heart from the beginning. To have the two get there chance was wonderful to see. I loved the intrigue the denial, the temptation, the pleasure of it all. There was that extra layer of satisfaction and more.
I still found no connection with the narrator. Now his voice is little more than background. I also found that this audio had more repeating sections than the one before. The poor transition points and background clicks at points noting track change or narration change. Some areas seemed a bit higher in sound quality.
