This book covers some very good topics for parents (and maybe even teachers) of tweens to know.
1. If You Don’t Do It, Someone Else Will
2. Mom and Dad - The First Role Models
3. Understanding Your Pre-Teen Child - A Way to Set the Stage
4. Initiating the Conversation about the Body, Sex, and Relationships
5. How Much Talk is Too Much? How to Discuss the Nitty Gritty
6. The Media's Influence and What You Can Do About It
7. Self Protection and Sexual Safety
8. 25 Questions Likely to Be Asked
In this day and age, it is important for your kids to hear the proper information from a respected and knowledgeable adult. It's important to get ahead of TikTok trends and misinformation, as well as dispelling rumours and myths that could be harmful. Sex is not something we should be afraid to talk about with kids, as it can only help build them up as adults and help our relationships with them.
