From the author of the action-packed Flint series comes the second book in a powerful new street series chronicling both sides of Baltimore's black market.
Like a movie or a TV show recorded I couldn't help rereading some chapters b/c of how much of a trip that I had to read it again. It is so hard to give a review with out spilling out the goods. reading this I can't help but think that one should watch what one gets themself into or get into them b/c one may never know what will be the outcome. I know Tiphani wish she learned that lesson early. On edge for Vol. 3
This is the second book in this series. I read it as an audiobook, and that made it a little more enjoyable. Like the other book, there are twists and turns and unexpected results. People make dumb choices sometimes for no legitimate reason. If you read the Flint series, you would enjoy this read as well.
Book 2 was just as good as the first one! Derek the state trooper is locked up and his exwife is helping his drug dealer brother Scar go free. On to the next book!
I was very glad to find out that the FLINT series had continued in Balitmore. But was sadly mistaken back to Flint in this frist book, but was curious enough to want to keep reading the next installment.
Not quite as good as the first installment but that's the curse of the sequel. In this installment, Scar continues to wreak havoc on Baltimore with the help of crooked police and politicians onvhis payroll. Tiphani is still ridiculously addickted to Scar and Derek remains in jail.
