Not only do they identify as a Dominant-submissive gay couple, but they also defy many of the stereotypes of this type of relationship. They rarely dress in leather; they don’t hang out at sex clubs, and they have little interest in many of the heavy BDSM sexual practices. There is no denying, however, that Matt is the Master and Petey is his pup. Reawakening, book three of the Puppy Love Trilogy, is the muchawaited conclusion to Matt and Petey’s story. After the tragedies of book two, more agony and ecstasy await Matt and Petey—a shooting, an unexpected pregnancy, a big gay wedding, and tons of passionate, kinky sex scenes. Will they find their happily-ever-after ending together, or will Petey’s reawakened independence lead him down another path entirely?

^^MATT AND HIS PUP STILL GOT IT^^

It is with a sad heart that I write this review but I am also very happy at the same time. My favourite couple’s story has come to an end, and what an ending it was. As I have mentioned before I was a little skeptical about reading the series, and I blame that on my preconceived notions of what a D/s relationship was really like. I have always had an aversion to someone telling another what to do and running his/her life. That was my single story of a D/s relationship. No one is more surprised than I am by how much in love I am with Petey, Matt, Alex and Drew. I now know that, any part of sexuality is never wrong as long as both partners are willing. Let me tell you this series will make you laugh, cry and have supreme bouts of anger at least that was my experience.

The third book in this wonderful series, and man was this one a joy ride. I am talking shocking moments, moments of laughter and oh so much love. We know that Petey and Matt met under bad circumstances, when Petey was getting beats by some punks, and Matt came to his rescue. After that meeting, a special relationship was developed and both provided what the other needed. The first two books we got to see how this relationship was progressing, and even though there were so many ups and downs both Petey and Matt remained true to their characters. Petey and his unwavering loyalty to Matt, and Matt and his very assholish ways. We had to watch Petey suffer and experience pain for his master to learn a lesson in humility. Even through all this, one thing remains clear; this is story about love, pure genuine,I would give up the world for you love.

After the ending of Puppy Love 2, we know that Matt and Petey had a situation that they needed to get through, the third book provides a clear look into this wonderful couple overcoming the odds and remaining a rock in each other’s lives. I can say that there is a happy ending, but there is also some jaw dropping moments and a big WHAT THE F*CK, at this very moment I still cannot understand why. I guess it is the talent of the author remaining true to his characters, or he really is one optimistic person. If I were in their position, I would not be so forgiving. We get to meet the parents and that was not as horrible as I expected, we get to see Matt struggle with his position as a Dom, not necessarily a struggle but his more stern ways are put to the test.

The friendships are just pure wonderful, for all the things that Alex, Matt Petey and Drew have been through you would think that they would hate each other. No way is that an issue, all four remain loyal to each other and I strongly believe without the presence of Alex and Drew there would be no Matt and his pup. They are like the pieces to their puzzles they make them fit. I love Drew and he is just a brave and truly unique friend. Its time for my favourite part, the wonderful sex. Even though it is not in abundance, there are some breakthrough moments, like Matt giving oral, talk about knocking my socks off. I died all kinds of death when I read that and if I were a dude I would have been all kinds of hard. There is also a bit of pain in this book, and it includes a new friend of the paddle. I am talking red butt cheeks and crying, mmmmm delicious. Never thought I would be one to enjoy the pleasures of pain, then again never thought I would enjoy reading about a D/s relationship. This book was just all kinds of good y’all.

Told in first person, we get to experience all the pains and joy of our Petey pup. The book moves quite well as to be expected of Jeff, I will be a fan of the author for a while to come. I am just a huge fan of love conquers all and beautiful boys, and Puppy Love got beauty. I am very happy with how the series has ended and I am sure you will be also. I was a little scared at one point when I thought Matt was going soft, but he hits us with his I am so awesome and I realize no need to worry asshole for life and I love him(Alot). As you can probably tell it was worth five stars and more, might not be your cup of tea but it says this, when it comes to sexuality nothing is ever wrong when you are happy. I love my boys!

You do pretty much have to read all three of these books because if you just read the first one, you would not get to see these characters mature and you would be left feeling rather unsettled. By book 3 you feel much more comfortable that Matt actually cares about Petey and is not just using him because he gets his rocks off by being a bully.
This series is enjoyable, albeit quite flawed. I never did really start to trust Alex. I'm not convinced that he's not an asshole. There are lots of problems with tense throughout the series - randomly switching between past tense and present tense, which was really distracting and annoying. The odd speech patterns that originally led me to believe the writer might not be a native English speaker were toned down a lot as the series wore on.
Over all I really liked it, but there's one thing that really pissed me off and that was the way the whole Ryan issue was resolved. Very big of Petey and Drew to forgive him and I applaud them for that, but then Petey dancing with Ryan at his wedding and Drew & Alex planning a double wedding with Richard and Ryan? No. Just no. You don't plan a double wedding the guy that almost killed you and raped your best friend.
Otherwise a great BDSM series, although some of the edgier scenes from the first two books were missing from book 3 in my opinion.

Edit: 3/2014

I have no idea what prompted me to re-read this, but I have to be honest and say I did still enjoy it. But holy crap, did I realize how utterly ridiculous this was the first time? Oh my gosh. These books are ridiculous! You can only enjoy this with heavy skimming and a huge grain of salt.

If you don't eat your meat...

You know the idiom "You can't judge a book by its cover"? Well I find that to be true most of the time. I'll admit I bought the Puppy Love books for two reasons: Jeff Erno and pretty covers.

You know the Pink Floyd song "Another Brick in the Wall"? There's a passionate conversation at the end of the tune between two people. "If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you have your pudding if you don't eat your meat?"

And there you have it. I got sucked in by familiarity of an author's story telling and pretty pictures. What I found was that these three books are really just one long book. It's not fair to judge the book(s) until you finish the whole story.

So why only three stars? BDSM just isn't my thing. And because of that I struggled with some of the pages. Book one was the said meat in "Another Brick..." I had to finish it so I could enjoy my pudding. I had to endure what I perceived as degrading acts committed between people. I didn't like Matt or Alex. I liked Drew and wanted to rescue Petey, who I adored. My precious Petey.

Book two gave me another taste of how cruel Matt could be. The a little get together in a motel room after a party was just painful. But as I turned the pages I saw everybody maturing. Matt and Petey are only 19!!! Through trial and error, heavy on the error, Matt became a better person. Not perfect, but better.

And finally after eating my meat and some mushy veggies I finally got to have my pudding. The love story that was between the words at times. I still don't "get" why someone wants a dungeon in their basement, but I found that I read every word in that scene. I also learned about the tragic childhood of another character that helps the reader forgive his actions; and they were heinous.

It's 1,200 pages you'll commit to if you take on this series. Just think of the pretty pictures when eating your meat.

The book has an HEA but I still feel like I need a shower.

The entire series was very nice at some point in the series I did really find Petey the sub character really pathetic, weakling blah blah blah.....but at the end of the series author Jeff erno did describe it in away that I felt I should give it a break and not be so judgemental about it may be I don't like such kind of character but some do, some people need these kind of people, like our Matt. My God hats off to Matt who had such patience and tolerance to deal with Petey and his leaking tap of tears.By the end of the Matt's personality development was awesome but it was hard to believe as he was only 19 yrs old.All in all this book was real good except for the parts when the author kept mentioning about the past incidents in quite a elaborate way which became bit drag.If u are reading only the last book u wont miss much apart from the real hot scenes as everything that happened in bk 1 and 2 was repeatedly mentioned in this book.

IS THIS BASED ON ACTUAL EVENTS?!!! Damnit Jeff Eron, answer my emails!!!

oh my god. Im being such a fangirl right now. This series just wow. SOOO MUCH DRAMA! But it was so good. Seeing Matt and Petey grow was worth all the times I wanted to punch Matt in the face. There were times I really wanted Petey and Drew to just say "fuck it" and run away together. I need a soul mate dangit. The story started to drag a bit for me because there was just a lot of reflection and summary that I didn't need but I still gave this book 5 stars because I loved the way it all came together in the end.

Oh these threee books are so good. After reading the first book I did not like Matt very much. By the end of Book 3 you are totally in love with Matt and all the characters. I would rate this as one of the few books that I would give more than 5 stars. If you can get through the first book you will just love these books.

The third in the series comes full circle with the first. There is a lot of rationalization for this lifestyle in this book (and series). Ultimately I did find all of it helpful in my understanding. I came to care for the characters and found it fulfilling as a story. Not something I can really understand but something I can accept.

This is a whole series review.

Here's the deal... the Puppy Love series isn't really a series. It's one really long fucking book. I say that because if you JUST read the first book (Puppy Love) without reading the second or third books (Building a Family and Reawakening, respectively), then you're probably going to be disappointed at best, disgusted at worst. If you decide to read this, you need to commit to the whole ~1200 page series. It has decent character progression and a sweet romance, but only if you read everything. Book 1 is just the start and should be thought of as the first third of a big novel.

ONCE AGAIN FOR THOSE IN BACK: This is NOT a true series! All three books are just three parts of one really large book. You can't (shouldn't) judge the story without reading all three books. The author did an excellent job of building up everything so he could show big progression in book 3. You've gotta endure the pain of Book 1 and 2 at times before you can get to the pleasure of Book 3.

The series covers roughly a one year time span. The author, Jeff Erno, is very good at creating detailed scenes. So a scene in another book may take 20 pages, whereas here it would be 40 or 50 pages. That's primarily why it is so long... details, emotions, and conversations aren't glossed over or smoothed down. They feel real, as if you could be having that exact experience yourself. That style makes the story feel much more personal and resonant.

Everything is told from Petey's point of view. While I think there are some places the author should have given us Matt's POV, it was handled decently well. Due to the aforementioned detailed qnd immersive writing style, Matt's feelings and emotions are well communicated, particularly in books 2 and 3. The constant being in Petey's can get a bit tiresome, though.

With that said, this entire series is pretty good. It gets better with each book. The first book, Puppy Love, was actually posted on Nifty eons ago. That's where I first read it, before Jeff published. It was one of my very first M/M stories, and definitely my first into BDSM. I have since become very well-seasoned, and I just re-read this whole series prior to this review.

As BDSM erotica, this series delivers on all fronts. I'd rate it a 6/10 on the "soft to hard" spectrum of BDSM. It's not just some light submissive puppy play here and there, but it's also not to the extent of locking up a pain slut in the dungeon for days. Petey is a slave and pup to his Master and owner Matt. It's a total power exchange. While there are a few masochistic elements, primarily in the first and second books and during punishments when Petey misbehaves, Petey is not actually a masochist. Pain play isn't too much of a focus for these two guys, but power exchange and domination/submission definitely is. The sex is very hot in most cases.

There is a case of on-page sexual assault and mild torture/violence. It is NOT between the MCs.

As far as romance, it's pretty sweet, but it takes awhile to build. Matt is very selfish in the beginning of their relationship (which is basically Book 1), including being not exclusive. Think of him as a bit of a "I'll fuck anything I want whenever I want" (not rape) kind of high-school jock. His character goes through huge development over the series to evolve from that base, and these two get a big HEA. They are utterly and believably in love by the end of Book 3, but they have to work for it. There's some big bumps along the way.

Be warned that there's "cheating" of a sort... nothing that is outside of the rules of Petey and Matt's relationship, but it's still stuff that emotionally hurts Petey quite a bit. That point is revisited throughout the series and also undergoes major development/resolution.

This is primarily a character focused story. Petey learns to embrace his submission, including learning how to serve, and Matt learns what it is to be a good Dom and an affectionate lover to his pup.

Matt is easy to hate in the beginning. As I mentioned, he's selfish and short-sighted in a lot of ways. But his feelings for Petey develop in real ways over time and through the situations they are put in. Petey is easy to be annoyed by. He whines a lot, especially in the beginning, and his character seems VERY childish at times. Yes, these are late teens, but they don't always act like that, especially Petey. Nonetheless, Petey matures over the series a bit, and he and Matt forge a deep bond that is unbreakable.

By time I arrived at the end scene, I was completely on board with Matt and Petey as a couple. It evolved naturally (mostly), more than I've seen in most other novels I've read.

Bottom line: Matt and Petey get their HEA, and it's more realistic than most. Matt DOES redeem himself (or change his behavior, at least) from how it starts in Book 1. Give the whole series a chance.

Book 1: Puppy Love ⭐️⭐️.5
This book is necessary to get us started, of course, but it's my least favorite. It is generally well written, but Matt is a total asshole in some cases. He's not physically abusive to Petey, but emotionally, he is. It doesn't seem like he intends it to be, but due to how Matt was raised, he does (and doesn't do) certain things that upset Petey in deep, hurtful ways.

There are also some situations Petey gets into as a result of Matt's negligence or inexperience (as a Dom), and Petey ends up being punished for them without Matt taking any meaningful responsibility. A couple of them leave a sour taste in the mouth. It should have been handled better, either in this book or revisited in one of the other two.

Book 2: Building a Family ⭐️⭐️⭐️
There's a lot going on in this book. Generally speaking, Matt and Petey grow much closer and Matt starts to shed some of his bullshit behaviors. Petey becomes a much more central part of Matt's life, and genuine love blooms between the two, not just lust.

That said, there are a couple truly stupid decisions on Matt's part. The first of which is the excuse Matt used with Alex and Petey to lure them into the surprise party. That was... beyond stupid. Like braindead stupid. I refuse to believe Matt wouldn't have realized that what he did would hurt Petey AND his best friend Alex in very deep ways. Yes, he apologized, but that apology felt a bit underwhelming considering the issues it caused.

Secondly... the decision to send Petey to spend the day with a jealous adversary... Matt should have been punished way more for that whole thing. AND! More importantly... We should have DEFINITELY seen Matt's POV through that whole ordeal and the fallout. I needed to see him feel the pain, first hand. He fucked up BIG TIME, and I wanted to see him fall apart directly. We were robbed of that opportunity.

Be warned that book 2 involves on-page sexual assault and related violence. It's not extremely graphic, but it is cringe-inducing. It is NOT between the MCs.

Some parts of this book feel contrived, creating artificial or extremely exaggerated situations for the sake of drama. I wish a different path was taken by the author, in that regard, but it's not egregious enough for me to stop reading.

Book 3: Reawakening ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Although this book is still told from Petey's POV, it is primarily devoted to the character development and maturation of Matt, delivered through the fallout of events in Book 2 as well as deeper insights into Matt's history, motivations, and feelings. He makes BIG (but realistic) changes to his behavior and how he treats Petey. Matt truly matures into not just a good Dom, but a great lover and partner to Petey. The hard edge of domination between them is softened a bit in this book, naturally because of how Matt loves Petey. They are still Dom/sub for sure, but Matt integrates a whole lot more affection into their dynamic than they previously had. The book even specifically discusses that fact. Petey is very happy with the arrangement.

There are a few other instances in this book that feel contrived for the sake of drama, but less so than book 2. At least less serious.

By the end of Book 3, these two have not only learned how to please and serve one another, but they've learned how to genuinely care and show affection in ways the other needs.

---

Overall this is a decent series, and I'll always remember it. It gets better as you go, with Book 3 being the most memorable. These two work well together, and the happy ending leaves a fresh, warm feeling as you read the final pages. 🤌 Matt and Petey are out there somewhere living their best lives.

I can't say enough about this series (3 books) - it's not a YA story even though they start off as freshman in college. They are learning the BDSM submissive/dominant lifestyle from the beginning and you get to go along on their journey and WHAT A JOURNEY IT IS! Far from perfect, sometimes I wanted to smack Matt because it was easy to overlook how much he loved Petey (it's there in the writing but not in-your-face-obvious) and they make some bonehead mistakes because well, they're young and human. Just excellent writing and full of humor, love, sex, friendships, etc.

This will always be on my to-be-read-again list no matter how many times I re-read it.

I'm writing this review for the whole series instead of just book #3.

Book #1 - 2/5 stars

Book #2 - 3.5/5 stars

Book #3 - 5/5 stars

Average - 3/5 stars which I round to 4.

The reason I'm writing the review for the whole series as Puppy Love is essentially one big book. Jeff Erno has written the story to where the plot structure continues through the whole series instead of every book having an individual plot structure. Book #1 is exposition and rising action. Book #2 is entirely rising action. The story doesn't climax until Book #3. It is very important to know this as you won't find enjoyment in Puppy Love unless you finish the entire series.

BOOK ONE

I didn't like Book #1 at all. Character likability is extremely important to me when reading books and I hated, hated, hated Matt. Petey, while not as unlikable as Matt, was also annoying and not very likable in this book. Matt is probably the biggest asshole of any main character I've read in any book in Puppy Love #1. He is extremely manipulative of Petey's naivety and innocence. Petey is much more humble but also an enormous crybaby with no backbone. And when I mean crybaby I mean that literally, it seems like he was crying for something every 5 pages. I really didn't like how he just let Matt walk all over him. The sub should have at least some kind of autonomy and rules for the relationship. While I don't have a huge understanding of BDSM relationships, I could never find a decent reason for it to be okay for Matt to be with another person yet alone a girl throughout the novel. He manipulated Petey into staying with him even though he had a running relationship with Tracy. Also, I didn't like Drew telling Petey it is okay for a master to be with other people without their consent. It is not. Not, not, not, okay.

Since I didn't understand the plot structure of the series when I first started reading Puppy Love, I stopped reading for several months after I finished Book #1 since I felt the book had a mediocre and unfinished ending. I also just plain didn't like it. It was out of shear curiosity that I picked up Book #2.

BOOK TWO

Book #2 was alright. It was better than the first book for sure. I don't have too much to say about Book #2 as it was all rising action but there was much more plot getting added into the series and less sex. The events that happened in Book #2 is what led me to decide to finish the series, and that was character development. Matt and Petey both begin to mature in this book. I'll explain more in the review of Book #3.

BOOK THREE

Yes! Book #3 was an absolutely great read! Book #3 is what makes the Puppy Love series a Gay Romance classic and not a mediocre series that leaves readers with a bitter taste in their mouths. Book #3 contains the climax and really shows the evolution of Matt and Petey's characters. Matt grows from being an absolute prick of a teenager with no sense of responsibility and consideration for the feelings of others into a passionate young man who finds true love and devotion for Petey. Petey grows from being a insecure, needy, crybaby with no backbone to a confident sub and lover who knows his needs and limits and can not only stand up to Matt but protect him. Book #3 is the book that you can look forward to if you're able to persevere through Book #1. It ties a very nice ribbon on the series.

CONCLUSION

I would highly recommend reading all three novels. The series turns from being a sour read into something wonderful and has one of the most beautiful stories of character development in the entire genre of M/M romance. While it has an unorthodox plot structure, I can assure you it is worth your while to pick up Book #2 and keep going.

The first thing I noticed was the strange contrast between the familiarity I had with these characters and indeed the short span their story lasted in total: this is the third book in a series all centred around Petey, a young and at the beginning innocent guy, and his boyfriend, and Master, Matt. All three books are pretty long, and both characters are probably “older” than their true age, and so, when I was more or less in the middle of the third book, I was surprised when Petey highlighted that it was neither a year he has met Matt. They have gone through so much, and experienced even more, that it seemed impossible to me that they were indeed still teenager.

That is probably the first impression I had of this couple, but above all Matt, they were walking into “dangerous” path when other boys their same age are probably still playing with videogames and going to football match. Petey has probably had to grow before his age when he lost both his parents, even if he has an older sister, he is pretty much without a strong leading, and he found that leader in Matt. Matt is absolutely not a fatherly figure, above all since he is the same age as Petey, and also since, according to me, Matt is also a bit selfish. Sorry, I arrived, and finished, the third book, but still I don’t like so much Matt: he is spoiled, moody, and yes, selfish. He is good for Petey, no doubt in that, but I think he has first of all himself in mind and then Petey; as soon as Petey agrees with him, and with his choices, Matt is the best of the boyfriends, but if Petey has his own opinion, than Matt reacts like the spoiled child he his. I agree with the author, and Petey, when he highlights that Matt is very much like his own father, and that Petey will probably evolve like Matt’s mother: at the beginning a spare wheel of her husband tank, with time she has developed her own character and she has managed her husband without him neither knowing it.

The author toned down a lot the kinky side of the story, and actually in this third book the sex is almost “vanilla”, just the sex toy here and there, but nothing too much or too strange; true there is a mild scene with a double couple sex scene, but it was almost expected and more or less harmless.

There was maybe a bit too much of pink glasses perspective, above all in the fact that everyone, really everyone, in the end had an happily ever after, and that was something that really had me realized these were almost all teenagers and so probably real life had still to touch them; and the hope is that, if it will reach them in the future, it will be clement with all of them.

If you have read the previous two books, I think the third volume is a must; if not, I think you can probably read book 3 without too much problem, and maybe for who is particularly impressionable, reading only book 3 can be a solution (in book 1 and 2 the sex is really out of ordinary and there is also a bit of violence in book 2).

I can say that I have not been disappointed with this series. All three books are excellent. We clearly see the evolution of the characters, especially the MCs. In book 3, the author wants us to understand that it can very well be love in a D/s and BDSM relationship and he succeeds very well.

There is suspense too. So the novel sustains our attention and we want to know what will happen next.

For those who know me a little better, you might be surprised to learn that there is not a great deal of BDSM scenes in these three books. But as sparse as the SM scenes could have been, there was such a beautiful D/s relationship between Matt and Petey, who are so complementary, that I am perfectly satisfied.

Some reviewers have been shocked by some of the BDSM scenes. They have found it "extreme". I can tell that they have never read Humiliator or Christopher Enslaved. I suggest them to read these two books and come back. I am sure that they will adjust their point of view and their reviews. ;) Personally, I loved the BDSM scenes.

At times this story in 3 books made me think of the Slave Breaker series by Maculategiraffe. Bran and Petey have something in common. But the Puppy Love series is even better.

I understand that some people hate Matt, at least as he is in the first book, because of his selfishness, but this is one of the things that the author tries to make us understand: Being dominant does not mean being heartless and selfish. The other point that this third volume addresses is love in a D/s relationship.

I'd like to see in a sequel the two MCs interraction with Jason. Jason, who Matt describes as his pain slut, may come to want a little more than just casual encounters with his new master (Matt) and become jealous of Petey. They have had problems with someone feeling rejected already. How would they deal with it this time? That is just a suggestion because I love all these characters and this series, and I am sad that it is already finished.

I'm really glad I finished this series and did not give it up after reading book 1. It was a hard read for sure and I had a lot of conflicting opinions when reading them. But after book 1 it just got better and better.

Overall it was a great read and maybe some time in the future I might go back and re-read all the books.

When I finally got around to reading the last book, I was very happy with the ending. It's really sweet and I think a great way to end it. I love Petey!! Petey and Drew are so cute!! I think theyre soul mates. Drew and Petey go through so much in this book. And Matt's mom, is so sweet. Let me just say, Drew is still my all time character in all three books. But seriously, if you have never read BDSM before, i think this is a good start. If you dont like BDSM, then this might not be the book for you. But I'll just say, I love the journey that these guys take in these books and when you get to the end, you'll definitely be happy.

The first two in this series were easy five star reads for me. This one was... Good, but not great. For me, anyway. I loved certain aspects of it and others not so much. I felt like it was just over the top in parts and had too many bubblegum sweet bits that were just...out of place? The resolution with Ryan just seemed SO unrealistic as did a few other parts of the wrap. Still good and I'd be lying if I said I didn't go "AW!" a lot because I do like bubblegum sweet for the most part. There was just a little too much of it in this one.

I read all three back to back. 2 stars for book 1, 3 stars for book 2 and 4 stars for book 3.
Book 1: Petey's constant "Matt's superior to lowly me" thing bugged me. Didn't like Matt at all. Felt like he was just using Petey. BUT, I liked it enough to buy...
Book 2: Petey starts to grow in this one and liked Matt much better. I admit to skipping alot of Petey's inner dialogue. Lots going on in this book and it kept my interest.
Book 3: Definitely liked Petey and Matt as a true couple. I liked their growth as individuals and as a couple and as a family with Alec and Drew.

YES it took 3 books for me to FINALLY not want to go Lorraina Bobbit on Matt...I loved this book, especially when Matt finally quit cheating on Petey! I really didnt like the treat him like a dog sex thing where he caged him up though...it went a little far for me. But thats why i normally dont read BDSM books, some of the stuff just seems extreme..GREAT BOOK, i truelly did not think Matt could be turned into a likeable character...but the author did it in the last book.

The author has really held my interest and engaged my curiosity (google has been busy). I can't say I agree with all the choices characters have made but that is what has made the series interesting. In my opinion the characters has stayed true to their basic personalities, no one suddenly 'saw the light', or changed drastically overnight. Again I found the writing picturesque and enjoyed the story.
I will probably reread the books soon...now that I know more : )

After reading the first two books, I had to finish the series. The books take place over the span of a year, and it's great to see how these guys have matured over that time, and even more, how they see themselves and their relationship continuing to mature in the future. There is a lot of drama and emotion in this one, and absolutely one of the besting endings I've read.

This book was much much better than the last two. We really did see a change in Matt and how he has matured. I am now understanding a little more about why the author wrote the first two so we could see this "transformation" as it were. Definitely think if you have read the last two you should read this one. I still love the character Petey and ended up being really happy for him.

this was a bit of a love fest, annoyingly so at times, but I am glad I read it. Don't get me wrong there were some smoking hot scenes but they didn't have the edge the first two books had. Nothing about this was challenging and I missed that. It made this book almost vanilla. but it was a sweet end to the trilogy though even if my teeth do ache a bit.

Loved this book! I recommend reading book one and two first, simply so that you can see how far the characters come. Still bdsm, master/sub, so if you don't like bossy sex, it's not for you. I loved it!

Not as good as the first two books in the series but it was good to read the ending in the life of these characters.

I absolutely enjoyed this series. It was so down to earth. Made me think of my own relationship :)
