Lots of good illustrations and sermons. If you are a Southern Baptist, you will like a majority of what is in here. A bit of a warning for the modern mind: there are a few times where B.H. Carroll's descriptors are a product of his time such as using "almond eyed" when describing Mongolians or Japanese people, but these are very few, and he still conceives of the Gospel as for everyone and has a heart for the nations to hear God's message of reconciliation.
