With treasure seekers and archaeologists swarming over Ithaca Farm, Lillian struggles to regain control over her life. The ancient Roman festival of Saturnalia is approaching, giving her one opportunity to return to the past to warn the Roman soldier Julius of the treachery threatening his life, and her future. But she isn't the only modern day traveller trying to slip back in time...

Mayor Jane Badrick has spent all her money on the dark web, gathering together an arsenal worthy of an army, a Roman army. And with her at the helm, history is about to change.

A sweeping saga of friendship, love, and the corruption of power.

The story continues from Ithaca Bound Lillian along with Apple returns to Roman Britain in a bid to stop history being changed. Whilst Jane, Hexam’s Mayor is equally determined to change history so she can have the power she only dreamed of. Kirsten cleverly weaves the threads of many character's stories into an exciting and thrilling book which leaves you wanting more. Where will it end? Can the many time travellers, both in the present and the past prevent major changes to the time line? Roll on book 3.

not sure why i read to the end. SO MANY typos and grammatical errors, whoever proofread this needs to be retrained

the story was complicated jumped about way too much and was therefore hats to follow, not helped at all in the section after Darius body is discovered and HIS name is repeatedly used instead of another character

When the third part appears I hope ALL these issues have been resolved or it may end up on my "I just can't finish this" shelf

Entertaining but needs a proof reader.

An engaging time-travel adventure. A villainous mayor inadvertently discovers the secret of traveling between modern Britain and the Roman Empire. When she takes a car and modern weapons back almost 2000 years with the intention of making herself queen, other players work to thwart her. Dinged a star for numerous errors in the text.

Seems like a promising premise but the many errors in grammar make for jarring reading. I think if I were the author I’d be pretty annoyed at the very poor quality of the editing and proofreading. I wanted to keep reading but I’m halfway through and I’ve had enough now because the mistakes make me feel like I’m marking student work…🙁

Excelent I couldn’t put it down the way the charecters weave in and out of the story .
I can’t wait for the final book to see the outcome. and what will happen to the dastardly mayor of Hexham.

A fantastic second in trilogy 👏

Once again, Kirsten has excelled herself! The book, a second in a trilogy flows seamlessly on from the first book, with twists I didn't expect. Can't wait until the third, and final installment.
