The book Napoleon by Manuel Komroff is an interesting biography about Napoleon Bonaparte. The book talks about Napoleons entire life from his childhood and college life to his exile and death. This biography has a lot of great facts about his famous battle strategies and also his personal life which not many people know about. This book also goes into depth about what Napoleon’s attitude was like towards people like his wife Athena and his friend Alexander Czar, and this really helps you to understand more about his personality.
I think that Manuel Komroff did a good job of telling Napoleon Bonaparte’s life story giving a captivating story while including many great facts. From this book I learned a lot of new things about Napoleon Bonaparte for example I never knew he was exiled after his reign as Emperor. I think this book is great for getting information and facts or if you are just looking for an interesting book to read . My favorite part about this book was that it wasn’t just raw facts the book actually talked about some of his important battles in detail. I liked this book because even though I was just reading this book to find facts about Napoleon I thought the stories about his battles and his seemingly impossible victories make the book a fun read.
I would rate this book a four out of five because I thought it was awesome how the author gave a lot of great facts about Napoleon but also kept the story interesting by talking about Napoleon on a more personal level. Although I liked the book I would not give it a full five out of five because it was a lot shorter than other biographies I have seen and also I have not read very many other biographies so I don’t really know how it compares to others.
