I couldn’t put this book down! The cold case storyline is intricate and layered, and the tension builds perfectly. Every character felt real, and the dynamic between Carla, Bernie, and Beth makes the series so enjoyable. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves clever mysteries with page turning suspense

Wow! The plotting is so tight, the suspense so engaging, and the surprise twists really took me off guard. This series keeps getting better and better, and this latest book is no exception. Carla McBride is one of my favorite fictional detectives I can’t wait for the next one!
