A great read about what the judicial system was like for the crime victim before there were any meaningful victims' rights law in place. Three cheers for co-author and crime victim Marvin Weinstein for helping change all that. Would that his daughter were still alive and he never had to do this at all.

This book really reaches deep into the depths of a father's struggle to deal with the legal and emotional aspects of the loss of his daughter.
