Who knew that the thrilling and sometimes terrifying world of the paranormal would be what saved me from feeling like I was fading away? As an overwhelmed new mom, I nearly lost myself completely – until one day I’d had enough. Sick of feeling hopeless and numb, I decided to dive into the paranormal, and haven’t looked back. My story is a bit of meets : a tale of self-discovery through finding ghosts. And I’ll say right now: If you can’t find the humor in amateur ghost hunting, you’re doing it wrong. Come with me while I sort through my relationship with the paranormal, beginning with a complicated childhood home life, through postpartum depression, to finally finding peace and community as an adult. Along the way, we’ll cover some common paranormal theories and investigation tactics, and the macabre histories of some haunted locations I’ve explored.
