Ten Tiny Droplets: Short Stories on Contemporary Indian Themes

Rate this book
Stories are the best medium to convey ‘messages’. The Great Indian “ITHIKASSAS” or epics—”Ramayana” and “Mahabharatha” were indeed the ‘messages’ contained in the holy Vedas and Upanishads, in the form of ‘real-time stories’. The “Upa-kathas” (sub-stories & events) of both the epics convey some moral messages too. In the same vein, it was thought that some ‘contemporary happenings’ in the present-day Bharath, which affect the society at large, and which most of its youth are unaware of, had to be brought to their attention in the most preferred form—short stories. Thus were born the “TEN TINY DROPLETS”, to create the required ‘splash’ and ‘Ripples’ in the mindset of the average Indian youth.
