Orville James Nave was an army chaplain who sought to produce an exhaustive classification of all the topics in the King James Version of the Bible. The first Nave's Topical Bible was the result of fourteen years of study by Nave, with the assistance of his wife Anna. Nave worked for the last twenty years of his life on various revisions of the work.
This book is helpful if you like to look into a particular topic. You can look up the topic then it gives you all verses that mention that. I find it most helpful when used with Strong’s Concordance, available online for free.
I would not describe this as a Bible so much as a dictionary. It takes all the major nouns of the Bible and give a break down of the who, what, where, when and how of it all. It's definitely a must for any preacher's library.
Whether you are young or old, sometimes finding the exact scripture we need can be a challenge. This book lists almost everything in alphebetical order. A must for all serious Bible Students.
This is a fantastic research tool. In paper form this would easily receive 5 stars. This Kindle version needs a revamp. I don't like having to goto the first letter of the alphabet and literally scroll through pages and pages to find what I am looking for. There should be a better way, either by search method or a better Table of Contents.

One day while reading this Bible I asked myself, "Why didn't God inspire the Bible this way? Why are all the subjects mixed up among narrative, poetry, and all that other stuff?" Exploring the answer to that questions has opened up the whole world of the Bible to me.
