While podcasting, he co-wrote a novella with podcast co-host Sarah Archer titled Death by Podcasting, a comedic mystery about the danger of podcasting with author guests.
The Charlotte Writers Club awarded Landis their 2025 Adelia Kimball Founders Award for service to the club and the literary community. He lives in North Carolina, where he grew up, went to school, practiced law, and learned to write. He enjoys travel, playing golf, reading, and spending time in the mountains and at the beach.

Landis Wade's Charlotte Readers Podcast is a treasure for the writing and reading community. He has interviewed hundreds of successful writers who have shared how they practice their craft and how they engage readers. The interviewees range from hugely-successful names regularly appearing on best-seller lists to authors who have published their first book. From these interviews, Landis and his team have culled nuggets of wisdom and inspiration. Reading these well-organized books is like a mini-MFA course. The Write Quotes series is a resource for aspiring and established writers. And for readers who want to know how and why their favorite authors make their magic.

I'm addicted to this series. Even if you just browse this book for a few minutes at a time, you're bound to find a few gems among the quotes. A really great collection. Love the forward by Sarah Archer!
