Okay finally I get some answers about my post-hysterectomy body. Would have been nice to have my doctor tell me that yes even if you keep your ovaries your hormones will still be out of balance and you WILL have menopausal symptoms. Written by a former pharmacist, now a dr.specializing in aging women's health issues. Good information for all of us gals.

This is a book that I have continued to go back to throughout the years. It's full of great information and it's a great reference book. I highly recommend if you're looking for information about hormones, imbalances, and how to get back to a balanced state. It's also interesting to read about how hormone imbalances can affect one's body. I continue to be amazed every time I read it. If you have health concerns and you're looking to connect the dots on what could be going on, this is a great book to read.

Good, quick intro to estrogen dominance treatment, providing a (horrifying) history of pharmaceutical-profiting synthetic hormones that caused tremendous risk and cancer to women. Provided solid argument for bio-identical hormone treatments and hormone testing as an integral part of health care

Should be required reading for every woman at any age! Even women in their twenties can be suffering from hormone imbaance. This book is not just for grandmothers!! Even MEN can suffer from hormone imbalances.

How many woman have to die from cancer becaause of the current hormone replacement therapy?

A lot of doctors are not even offering plant based human identical hormones to their patients; YOU as a CONSUMER must do the research and demand your rights in your medical care. If your physician doesn't like it, you need another physician!!

Wonderful information, and the recipes are very good. I followed the recipes fully for about 10 days and felt absolutely amazing, the debilitating anxiety was even almost gone. Unfortunately, there is a lot of prep work and cooking involved with this type of eating plan, which made it difficult to continue. I do incorporate many of the recipes into my current eating plan.
