AlphaTangle - A Truly Tangled Alphabet

Rate this book
"AlphaTangle - A Truly Tangled Alphabet" is an adorably teeny (4" square) book of alphabet letters created from Zentangle patterns. All the official Zentangle tangle/patterns have names and each letter is formed from the patterns starting with those same letters. The original art was drawn with a Micron pen and shaded with pencil. AlphaTangle was intended to provide inspiration for fellow Zentanglers.

The book was exactly what I expected. After reading the reviews here at GR I knew that it was tiny and did not have instructions. I do journaling and like to start an entry with a little art. Often this is just a fancy first letter, a doodle or something I find in a magazine. Zentangle is new to me and an area that I am exploring so the book fits my need in more than one area.

You will find everything you need to get started with Zentangle or "tangling". This is a method of drawing similiar to doodling but being mindful of what you are doing. I use zentangle to increase my concentration as well as keep my stress down. All you need is a fine tip pen and paper. Anyone can Zentangle.

This book did not include step by step ibnstructions for each tangle. I was disappointed by its tiny size and did not think it was value for money. It was the most disappointing zentangle book I have encountered.

This is a cute reference zentangle book. It doesn't include step-outs, but this is a book I will carry with my pens and paper.
