A little collection of Scripture-soaked parables of farm life in the Welsh countryside. When I paid $15 for a copy on eBay, I was surprised when I got it by how tiny the book was, but the stories are rich, and the glossy photos throughout, though old, are absolutely beautiful - those Welsh hills! It is full of truth and will certainly bear rereading.
Could be a lovely book for bedside table or guest room.

Beautifully written parables of life on a sheep farm in the Welsh mountains. Simple and yet so profound, the illustrative writing captivates the senses as daily work yields spiritual lessons on walking with God. As a translation one can only imagine how rich the prose is in Welsh!

A bit old school but basically this book looks at farm life in Wales and draws spiritual connections from Scripture. It's cute but a bit outdated.
