From bartender to royal lover in less than a day… When she’d reported to work, Dani had no idea she’d share a passionate night with the man of her dreams. But when that man turns out to be the crown prince of one of the wealthiest countries in the world, she’s horrified. Unfortunately, she might also be pregnant with the heir to the throne.
Kalil Asidua Benoit, Sheik of Asham, is entranced by the delicate beauty he’s found in Dani but knows that their relationship can go no further than their one night of passion. He’s dumbfounded though when his expensive gift of thanks is rejected. And further intrigued when she refuses to become his mistress. Unable to work around her objections initially, he’s gratified when he discovers that the woman he can’t seem to do without, is pregnant with his heir. That fact allows him to “protect” her and bring her to his country.
Dani is furious when she’s abducted but can’t resist whenever Kalil touches her. She can’t protect her heart or her body from his onslaught of charm and passion but will he take care of the gift of her love? Or treat it as he does any of his other possessions?

A big cultural gaffe towards the end of the book brought the star rating down for me. The woman, Danielle, is marrying a sheikh so obviously he must be Muslim. According to the author, at the wedding to be held in his homeland they will be married by a priest. She mentioned the priest several times while discussing the wedding in Basir. I can overlook certain things in these books but in this day and age of Internet where information is at your fingertips, a quick search would have revealed the wedding would have been performed by a ma'zeen or imam. Apart from that, the story was enjoyable and the hunky sheikh is a hottie!
Dani was working as a bartender when she happened to meet the hot sexy Kalil. Feeling the instant attraction worries her as she is engaged to another man, so she leaves hoping to be long gone before he notices her missing. Kalil is drawn by a passion stronger than he has ever known follows her.
Unable to resist each other one kiss leads to another and to a night of hot passion.......than he disappears. Dani has no idea who he really is.....and she in for a shock.
A misunderstanding leads Kalil to kidnap her and take her back to his country.....a pissed off Dani lets him have it. But her spunk draws Kalil admiration.....and they both discover that more than passion holds them together.
A well written passionate read...I liked their cat fights and their talks.....and their passion and how neither one could resist. And how Dani forgets her name when they touch. A very sweet sensual romance....
Very cute story. Fast read - sort of a brain candy type of love story. Very sweet - what many women would love to happen to them. Well, there's one part I wouldn't like (the getting lost part) but everything else? I'm in!
This is not your typical hook up here. Dani is a part time bartender who is called in one night to work an important party. She ends up spending the night with Kalil who is a sheik. He leaves the next day. He tries to give her gifts which she returns. I am not going to tell you the whole story here. There are several places in the story that were unclear and I had to guess at what was going on. But I did enjoy the plot of the story and have read several of E. Lennox's books and will again.
I loved this book couldn't put it down. Danielle Munroe works as a teacher and on weekends as a waitress to save money to get married to Mark her almost fiance. One night her boss Mike called her to come to work because Chuck the bartender didn't pass the background check. Dani was wondering why a background check, but still agreed to go in and be the bartender that night. Toward the end of the evening a very attractive man approached her and asked her to join him with a drink, he introduced himself as Kalil. When Kalil was told that he had a phone call he left, but Dani left quickly even though he told her to wait for him. On her way home he found her and drove her to her apartment, but when he walked in to her home and kissed her he couldn't stop and took her to her room. After a few weeks Dani's friend Carry wanted Dani to go with her to the doctor's office because she was hoping that she was finally pregnant after her and her husband were trying for a while. A messenger came to her apartment to escort her to Kalil, but when they arrived he took her on a plane. Kalil would not let Dani off the plain because according to his gaurds that he left behind to look after her she had gone to the obstetrician's office which to Kalil ment that Dani was pregnant with the next in line to rule Basir.
The big handsome Crown Prince Kalil of Basir bumps into a beautiful English lady and falls in lust. Danielle's an innocent grade school teacher working a side job as a bartender where she meets Kalil. I would say they have instant attraction. Their romance is funny and sweet and ends happily. Linda
A great tile. A great book. I liked the bits about the child in the book. I felt like I could evening in the book playing the part has the baby sitter in the book in the end. A great book Elizabeth. This book is the third book of Elizabeth 's that I have read.
This was so sweet, funny and good.loved how Dani didn’t put up with his ego, lol. She put him in place, was so glad when they finally admitted they loved each other. Such a great book.
A cute read. The two meet and fall into bed. Lust, a pregnancy and some drama ends up turning into love, a rescue and a whole other culture coming to terms. A delightful story full of angst, hope and drama.
I didn't like this book as much this time around. It doesn't need to be on my ultimate favorite list. I was to over the top and I didn't like the way this all went down but I love lucy lennox.
as usual with EL books i loved this story too. dani worked hard to attain her goal of getting married and having a family and her bf was a douche who deserved to be dumped. i like the spontaneity of how her relationship startd with kalil but he was a bit arrogant.
i was also confused about the bro and kalils previous fiance but that was cleared towards the end.
This just went to my ultimate favorites. Its short and i liked the premise of the book. I love an alpha male and this sheik is defiantly one. It kills me when the man tries to act like he just wants the sex but constantly thinks about the girl after its all over. Yeah right.
This book was whatever. I would save my money. The way they describe their feeling is so blah. The whole book sound like blah blah blah then this happen and then blah blah blah.
Intense struggle is always a good story line. I love how these two people but we're feeling the same thing but neither wanted to admit or step out first.
