Ask for some backstory, get some backstory. It's interesting to see how Raven and Kath crew up within this crime family. I'm still a bit confused who all the dudes are and can't really tell them apart. In Issue 3, Kath gets a chance to show her tender side, while Raven's traditional values make her seem highly unlikeable. The last part of the issue invites a new complication as the Italians come calling. I really feel like I could watch this series on TV. The scenes are framed and paced much like a television episode. Though, the linework and color of the comic are much more appealing than live action characters. I'm definitely on board for the rest of the 8 issue run.
