A large Victory Garden supplied the Hooker family with ample food during the war days. Special relationships of eight-year-old Louie with their pet dogs on the farm south of Fremont, Michigan, are told in story fashion. The antics of their family of ten are sure to make you chuckle. DOG DAYS ON THE FARM presents this part of American history to boys and girls in a manner that is interesting and educational. Adults will enjoy it too.
