Star is a young Czech girl who could be described as a stereotype – she grew up in a dysfunctional, one-parent family and now works as a stripper. But she is far from a stereotype. Being a stripper gives her the freedom to travel the world and explore what life can offer while saving money for a place she can call home. She is doing her best. Lonely and vulnerable, she considers herself strong and in control, although she makes some mistakes along the way. After a few years in Japan and disillusioned by her on-off relationship, she is spreading her wings and seeking new opportunities in Europe. While planning her future full of travel and change, she starts realizing that a man who was only a friend for a long time, is slowly becoming much more than that. Is she prepared to change her life?

While you get to know Star, you will also learn about the life of a stripper and visit Japan, Iceland, Ireland, and Prague. The job is not glamorous, but it is something that offers a sense of belonging, stability, and a future to many girls who don’t know that they are lost.
