(I skipped volume 7 because I don't own it but I don't think I missed much.)
This series hasn't been about basketball in a loooong time (or... ever) but what really grinds my gears is that the Kyo/Eniwa relationship is so stale. He's just so angry with her all the time and they're constantly fighting and there's a lot of misunderstandings but none of it's fun or cute anymore.
Well, this is as far as I own this series, so I'll stop here and sell the books. Goodbye forever.
(I kinda liked Yura in this volume, but I can't get over what he did in volume 6.)
Makin koplak aja nih komik.
I can see why people reading this in this decade would not enjoy this. It's out there and it's severely dated. On that note, middle school me who picked up the first volume at Barnes and Noble all those years ago would have loved this to no end and thought it was the funniest thing. I only wish little me had the chance to finish it then. Three stars for nostalgia.
Omg don’t read this story for romance… read it for Hamaya and his dumbass antics!!! This boy always ends up naked..smh.
I also love Yura.. even if he tried to kill Kyo and blew up a building, he’s freakin hilarious. He was calmly drinking his tea while the others were high on shrooms LOL
The page with the giant sketches of Meg Ryan and Brad Pitt (the actors that the main characters hallucinate that the other looks like) really, really dates this series. Like why not have them look like hyper realistic versions of themselves that would've been funnier lol
