Review:
In this story we follow The Hunter, who has no past, but famous for his treasure hunting for right price and there's no one like him in India at that time. He's also famous for his magical sword, as there is a rumor that the sword forged in Hell.
The book starts with him being capture by the Mughal King, Nasir-ud-Din Muhammad Shah, and he sent "The Hunter" to find "Kanika Dwar" by threatening him with the life of his friend, Rehan and friend's son. So The Hunter after convincing the King goes on to the heist with Rehan. But there's also so much more going on behind.
I enjoy the story so much from the thrilling adventurous aspect to the history sets up mention in the story, also the Hunter's other secret side and how beautifully the author mix everything together is commendable.
The story is short, only 220 pages, but gripping, intriguing, full of mysteries and very fast paced.
Only one thing that very much bother me is describing Himalayas as "Him mountain", it's silly, but it does bother me and I mark every time that mention.
But overall a very good historical fantasy fiction story that I would definitely recommend, while I will wait for the second book.

The author has beautifully blended facts and fiction with his skillful hands. The characterisation demands appreciation. The author has sketched characters with layers. They have well defined motives behind their actions. This quality makes them relatable and readers feel attached to them. The language is conversational and easy to follow. Elegant nature of the prose and crisps writing style hooks you from the very first page. It's definitely a fast paced page turner. Unique storyline, well developed plot and characters as well as beautiful writing style, makes this a must- read for all thriller lovers. I highly recommend this book.

Well I don't like reading book based on history, but the cover of the book The Hunter Genesis attracted me a lot to read this book. So as mentioned above the story is from 18th century about Nasir ud din mohammad. The reference taken from that time is unbeatable. The book has Protagonist hunter who is just super amazing. Author has characterized so well and briefly.
The book has few chapters in which The plan and journey part was my favourite. The starting of the book is simplified and author has detailed every thing about that time. I really enjoyed reading this masterpiece. The book is definitely a must read especially for those who love reading history books.

Jasveer Singh Dangi's, "The Hunter Genesis" follows our protaganist Hunter who is tasked on retrieving a all powerful weapon used in so many battles prior. We get to know a lot about hunter and why he is the only person who is capable and willing to go on this suicide mission. Since this story is set in 18 th century india, it has a indiana jones esque vibe to it which i really enjoyed. We also get to know about the king who tasked Hunter to this task and his motivations.
Most novels tries and fails to create a compelling grey characters but I firmly believe its not just the characters but the drama between the characters is what makes it intriguing. This novel does the same thing and it passes in flying colors. All the motivations, their intentions are laid out to us in a clear way and we get to see first hand, why the characters have to make these choices and by the end, we would be sympathetic to all.
Being an action adventure, the story is packed with one set piece after other with each outdoing its predecessor. It keeps the reader on the edge and the stakes are super high since our hero is literally tasked to fetch the nuclear codes equivalent in that time period. A fast paced read which is highly recommeneded

This book is grueling ,it takes us on a scary world where it paints a glaring picture of hardships, danger, and high degree tension faced by where the legends from our ancient world collide with the madness of the 18th century, at the same time it was al spell binding to read about the adventures of THE HUNTER.
What started out as a low key adventurous and slow paced tale, pounding mission full of action, betrayal, secrets and survival.
I was addicted to the story.A seamless balance of in-depth research and fascinatingly painted details and background made it an exceptional book.

This story is filled with thrill, adventure, and mystery. The hunter is the one who signs up for the suicide mission and we get to know about our protagonist in the story. The story that shaped him and sent him to fetch the mysterious and powerful weapon. A king tasked the hunter to fetch the weapon to protect his crumbling kingdom. I always liked the plot that contains a quest and a character-transforming journey. And this painted different shares of character with intruding shades. Being on an adventure tale where one action scene after another will blow your mind away. The tale of a power-hungry king and hunter’s race against time is a quest to witness and read. This book will keep you on edge throughout the read. If you are an action-adventure lover, you need to pick this read.

I was reading it on a scorching summer day whilst struggling with my migraine, this book completely gauged my mind and made me compelled to read this breathlessly. The way Jasveer articulated mythology and adventure, it's superbly blended and created an amazing magical experience with sprinkles of Mughal-era lifestyle and history.
He meticulously crafted action sequences with punching dialogues. As the plot goes thicker story unfurled slowly and myst started pouring inside the page.
It's a riveting adventure plot that delves into an action-packed thriller vibe, a forgotten part of the epic Mahabharata against a historical background, friendship, and a lot of mystery.
With an engaging narrative, Jasveer started telling us a story about Hunter. Hunter is an antiquity collector and seller. No one knows his real identity or his name, even he is also in oblivion about himself. He lives deep down inside the jungle or wherever else nobody knows, he is a mysterious man. Delhi Sultan captured him and forced him to make a full demonstration about Kanika Dwar. Legends say Kanika Dwar is a myth, a mythological place. It belongs to the Mahabharata. People say, when the Mahabharata war ended, Pandavas created Kanika Dwar and kept their celestial powerful weapons in that Kanika Dwar. Kanika Dwar is settled in some other realms. Only Hunter knows the road to the mysterious Kanika Dwar. And in this adventure journey, Rehan and The Widow became his co-traveler.

The weak Mughal emperor seeks powerful celestial weapons and forces the Hunter to go on a mission to recover them. Will the Hunter be able to find the lost portal and recover the deadly weapons?

This story was almost like watching a movie. Every scene was running inside my mind. The author's writing skill was the obvious reason behind this.Well written from start to end.This book is amazing and hard to believe the writing is excellent and plot will keep you absolutely hooked!!!
While reading certain scenes in the story I actually felt like it was happening in reality! That is how the book deeply engages the readers. The author has a good storytelling style. However, it's the ending that was the most satisfying.

The Hunter -: whatever it is, wherever it is… the Hunter is destined to find it.
The lines of the title really put a good impression on hunter and this was the reason I chose this book to read.
Well I like reading books from history , and when I came to know that this is from Mughal times I was really excited to read further. The story starts when Nasir-ud-din Muhammad captures the hunter to find something for him. The Hunter wasn't able to denied because Nasir ud din has kidnapped his friend with him. So here the story became so much interesting that I was delved into the book. But but but story doesn't comes to an end here there's more interesting things that happens with the hunter. The story has total nine chapters to read and it has total 222 pages which was a short read for me because the story is interesting so I finished it in 2 days.
Well according to me the most important and interesting chapter of the book was The Immortal, the way author has described and introduced Kanika Dwara is really fantastic. It seems like a dream place for me. The story brings more twist and turn at this place.
