Being one of three identical triplets, Elijah has always felt surrounded by family and that has only grown as each of his brothers have fallen in love. With an equal passion for his medical career and women, he's happy enough to let Levi and Amos be the ones in the family that settled down. That is until a colleague moves to town.
Lacey has worked hard her entire life to get to where she wanted to be. A psychologist with her own practice. After paying her dues in the military she was now one of the country's experts on PTSD. Moving to work at a hospital where someone from her past also worked, hadn't exactly been part of that plan, especially when that someone was Elijah Delaney.
Elijah has only fond memories from their college days. Lacey has anything but fond memories of Elijah. Just when he starts to break through her barriers, a flame from Lacey's past shows up. Who will she choice? Or will Elijah finally realise what it is to have loved and lost?
Edith MacKenzie or Eddie Mac to her friends is an Australian author of sweet and wholesome contemporary cowboy romance. They say in literary circles to write what you know and Eddie has certainly taken that to heart. Before embarking on a writing career she trained horses professionally and brings that wealth of knowledge to her writing.
Now a mum to a boy and girl, as well as wife, she delights with her tales of strong cowgirls and rugged cowboys and their adventures in finding love. When not weaving the love stories of her characters, she enjoys hanging out with her family and animals, as well as reading, fishing and camping
Elijah is the third and final book in the series and one I have been very much looking forward to. I really enjoyed Elijah’s story and how it all came together. I found it funny to picture all of these women constantly throwing them self at him. To see the “playboy” of the brothers finally have to struggle and come to terms with real emotions was a joy. I loved catching up and seeing where Levi, Amos, and their significant others are at. The added bonus of specifically what Amos is encountering, and how that tugged at my heart strings was beautiful. It was very nice to see the whole family, all three brothers and sweet Allie plus all the other women and the level of camaraderie, family, and heartwarming moments. Every time I pick up one of these books, it feels like coming home and that is a wonderful feeling. I did feel as if Elijah’s story was a little bit rushed, and it is obviously quite a bit shorter than the first two books , but that didn’t take away from the fact that I love this authors stories and writing. I cannot wait to see what this author has in store in the future and I’m actually planning on going back and reading books that she has written previously.
Elijah has watched as his two brothers have found the loves of their lives. But he's not ready to give up his playboy ways. That is until his college friend comes to town. Sweet clean HEA
This one was better than the first two. Had me drawn and page turning from page one. Elijah may have been a doctor but I think many people can relate to his inability to truly connect with someone. Also then to get scared when it does happen. So good!
