CLARE DALY was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1974. She has been working as a film publicist for over twenty years in the Irish film industry, including time spent at Warner Bros. Pictures, Walt Disney Studios and Twentieth Century Fox.

She can usually be found with her head in a John Connolly Charlie Parker novel or revisiting any of the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. In the classics, she adores Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. Other favourites include Misery and 11.22.63 (Stephen King), Mystic River (Dennis Lehane), The Girl With All The Gifts (M.R. Carey) and Out of Sight (Elmore Leonard).

Our Destiny Is Blood is her first novel, with the next instalment in the series coming in Spring of 2018.
