I love the idea of this book, but I just can't seem to make myself read it. The meat of the information is set in a tight gray block of tiny, fine letters. Every time I try to read that, it just seems so serious and difficult; it makes me feel way too tired to try to read. Considering that, maybe I don't really want to learn about book design from this guy after all.
Meanwhile I am working for my bachelor thesis in creating a magazine and I think that this literature was more than helpful!! Really would recommend it if you search something that is easy understandable and also helpful for your own work as a designer.
I'm in love with all Rockport's Workbook series, especially this one. Help me to be more organize in my work, lots of tips of course. Tons of cool tips
Filled with tons of tips regarding typography, color, layout, presentation and more; as an online magazine editor and designer, I found this an invaluable source!
