3.5 stars Stuck on a mountain?
Hopefully you encounter a huge, hot, and scruffy man like Tyler. He can save me anytime, anywhere 👀.
Carrie’s (22) driving to her best friend’s wedding location (she’s the maid of honor) when she gets stuck because of a huge storm. Her poor little sedan is no match for Mother Nature. Luckily, Tyler (34) lives in the mountains, in a secluded, private area and is able to rescue her.
At first, Carrie’s a little feisty with Tyler; duh, he’s a huge, handsome man… why should she trust him? But alas… there’s no one else around, so what’s a girl to do? Well, she goes with him of course 🤷🏻♀️
Tyler can’t help but fall for this curvy woman.
What I liked:
—it’s Insta love 👀. They’re my guilty pleasures 🤷🏻♀️lol. If you don’t like Insta love, then this book won’t be for you (or most of OTT books 😅). I read these after long books or dark ones ❤️
—the diiiirtiness 🔥. As usual, we gets lots diiirty talk and smeeexy stuff 🥵. I love me a man that loves to devour his food 😉. Tyler’s very alpha and commanding when it comes to the 🔥.
—Carrie’s feistiness when she first meets Tyler. She was sarcastic and I was here for it lol. She’s like “yeah I’m REALLY gonna go with a random stranger in the middle of a storm” 🙄 lol and then Tyler introduces himself 🤣
—the getting to know each other. Before they become intimate (like the first night they meet each other😅), they talk… a little bit 🤣. Hey, at least they knew a little about each other 🫣❤️
—the cute epilogues ❤️. We get one 3 months later and another one 14 years later. Sigh. OTT does the best ones 🥰
What I wanted more of:
—length. As usual, there were times we could’ve had more. For example, when Carrie’s writing her MOH speech, it’s not detailed. Tyler gives her some tips to doing it, and then she “does” it and voila… it’s done 😐. We don’t hear it or know what it says
—more of Layla and her best friend. We know some basic information, but we don’t see them interact much. I love getting to know side characters
—the ending was rushed (I get it; it’s a novella). They next day when Carrie wakes up, he’s gone. She goes to the wedding and he’s there. His reasoning for being gone makes sense, but this could’ve been drawn out more 😅. Basically, I wanted it longer
—although I loved that Carrie moved for him, I wish it hadn’t been so rushed. But hey… I get it… it’s a novella
Overall, I enjoyed it. Plus, her 🔥 scenes are 🥵 and 💦

Quick read and extremely insta-love. They fall really fast haha
I love the covers and that is what attracted me to this novella series first but tbh I am just enjoying the easy going read, they are easy to get through and it should not be taken seriously as each book is less than 100 pages so there is no room to develop a massive relationship before they are all in so skip all that and go straight to the ''I love her and want to marry her'' vibes after 10 seconds of meeting lol
We get a nice epilogue 14 years into the future to wrap up their life and give a glimpse at what they were busy doing (making babies) lol

They meet, fuck, and get pregnant in 48 hours. 😂 If there was some more plot development to this I could get down with it but it was too surface level to make anything even believable. There were also some technical issues with the writing. I doubt that I’ll continue with the series but at least I gave it a try.

For 84 pages, I knew better than to expect anything spectacular, but... I don't know, man. It was too much, even for me, which is incredibly telling. I honestly think if it was any longer than 84 pages I would've DNF'd it. Some of the things the heroine said had my hackles rising and my eyes rolling, pretty much right off the bat, and it went downhill from there. I'm generally a fan of insta-love tropes and mountain men and pretty much every other element this book has, but it just didn't work for me here.

I actually forgot I read this one lol. I genuinely thought that I only read two books from this series and, checking my fable account, I discovered there was a third one as well. Well, that made me laugh at least. 🤣🤣🤣
What can I say about this one ? I felt like it’s just a copy of the previous one, only with other names (everything was the same, the trope, the setting, literally everything felt the same to me, so ofc I got more bored, if that’s even possible). I guess that what I discovered after reading this books is that you can never be too bored, there’s always a higher level of boredom, you just have to get there.
Anyway, that’s actually all I remember from reading it. I genuinely cannot remember anything else. I guess when you read a book and you have to reread the description to remember what it was about, well… that says it all in my opinion. 🤡

Wrong Turn, Right Man
A very fun and naughty quick read! I like how Carrie's imagination runs away with her on multiple occasions. It's seriously cute and a bit humorous.
Then we have our mountain man hero, Tyler. He may be a bit over-the-top, but he's also a real sweetheart. And seriously dirty. ✔😍
I'm interested to see what's next in this new series.

Carrie gets lost heading up to the location of her best friends wedding. Tyler saves her stranded ass, and immediately falls in love. They spend the night together and decide to make what they have permanent. Tyler joins Carrie at the rehearsal, and the wedding, and they live happily ever after.
Carrie was a like able character. She wasnt too sure of their love and doubted Tyler when he was late to the wedding. But there was no third act break up, which was nice.
Tyler fell head over heels. He’s hot. He can save me anytime lol.

OT.T is obviously an expert: sweet, hot smut, some decent insta-love plot, well-written, not dark. A short read but packed with all the spices!

First off, the cover is oh my lawd hot. He was the perfect guy for a story about a grizzled mountain man. This was a nice palette cleanser since I wasn't in the mood for anything heavy. I found them so adorable together and their scenes were scorching hot. The bit of breeding kink was very welcomed. I read this author in the past and didn't like it much but I'm glad I gave this author another shot. I'll definitely check out her most recent stuff.

i know novellas are ott absurd, but i do still wonder why they have to throw away the common sense using protection? mcs didn't even bother to ask or discuss their health status. then again it's probably because that's part of the ridiculousness of the story or if the mmc is hell bent on knocking up the fmc immediately.
tyler (34) and carrie (22) met because her car got stuck on the side of a mountain while on her way to her friend's wedding venue. seeing there's nothing he could do about her car, he helped her instead by offering his house as temporary shelter for the night. then they talked overnight, got to know each other, and did uhm things too. 😉 in the span of maybe 3 or 4 hours after they met, both of them realized they were both falling in love. see? absurd (again part of novella's charm)
the next day, they went to her friend's wedding rehearsal and she introduced tyler as her boyfriend. then they had fun some more in the hotel. 😂 carrie woke up alone the next day, and assumed tyler ditched her. turns out he went to town to buy a suit for the wedding and also to buy a freaking wedding ring. 🤣
so to summarize, guy meets girl, rescues her then professed their love for one other. got engaged 2 days after they met and got married a day after their engagement. like i said it was totally unbelievable but i still enjoyed it.
i also liked the extended epilogue, it was so adorable reading them many years later and seeing nothing has changed with the love they have for each other, and that their love extends to their kids. ❤️

Usually, I do not rate novellas with five stars, but this one was excellent. As a fan of Olivia's books, I couldn't wait to read this, and I loved that she released it early. Not to mention this cover is STUNNING! How could you not want to get lost in the mountains and have this man find you?! 🔥

Una historia sin trama y sin contexto.
Este libro, si es que se puede llamar libro es solo p#rn# no tiene nada de trama. Los personajes se enamoran en el segundo que se miran y lo hacen y lo hacen y ya. Eso es todo.
Siento que se pudieron utilizar esas 100 páginas para hacer algo mejor.
Sin duda el peor libro que he leído en mi vida.
Lo recomendaría solo si deseas leer como un hombre grande y de montaña rescata a una chica y a los dos días quieren una vida juntos sin siquiera conocerse.
(Aunque realmente no lo recomendaría)
