I was pleasantly surprised to discover this book by Arno Surminski on the shelf of the Chicago Public Library since I had thought I had already read most of his books. Arno Surminski, whom I have had the pleasure of meeting in person, was kind enough to write the forward to my book "Eine lange Flucht aus Ostpreußen" ("Weeds Like Us").
